nice battles Mr Skill. but what you call going backward is actually ging forward for the tank. based on valentine the big 17pdr gun was build on looking backwards for reason of balancing the weight and restricting the lenght of the td. traveling was always done with gun looking "back". british crews kind of liked the way the gun was installed as it allowed for a fast retreat after firing from an ambush.
I had qoute a bit of fun playing this tank, as soon as I got used to the weird driving habit. The 17pdr is such a nice gun on this tank (the best it's even going to be, in my opnion, as the only other tank where it's even remotely accurate is on the TOG II, and the at tier VII it's definately quite anemic).
This is my go to meme tank on tier 5. Pen is great, camo is great. It eats up targets if ignored on some maps. Driving takes some getting used to. But still, It's not bad as far as TDs go. It's no Stug, but still.
Can only agree...Still have it in my garage cuz' of very nice gun for a tier 5 (almost 0 APCR needed), though nowadays' 5-min battles wont let it to use its full potential... :(
I got the first Raider badge with the Archer 2nd time got with Type 5 Heavy... P.S. In my opinion All TD's that is paper should be like Archer well that they could go backwards faster... (If it has no fully rotating turret. )
@@DGARedRaven Why do you wrote me this fact? look there is tanks similar to Archer i mean with possibility to move backwards faster or has the same speed/acceleration as going forward... Just the point is i was talking about the game. Hmmm look where does tier VIII-IX-X Swedish TD's crew looking and if i'm not wrong all they have x2 steering ''drivers'' one looking forward another backwards and... Grrr sorry head non working but i guess you got the point what i wanted to say.
I think my winrate on this turd was 23% when I quit this game - it was rare that I got the games where the enemies would just line-up in front of me and let me slaughter them without asking their names. Never made it to the Achilles - I quit at the height of 3-5-7 matchmaking which made grinding tanks like this near-impossible unless you were a high-skill player. Unless you are sick puppy like Skill and enjoy extra challenge, free xp your way past this one.
nice battles Mr Skill.

beauty to see long time game with actual strategy, instead of 15-5 simulator
15-5? More like 15-2
It doesn't go faster backwards. The gun just happens to be mounted in reverse.
We used to run the KV 5 backwards as the rear armor was tougher then R2D2.
I wish ALL newer players could watch this video, this is such a great showcase on how to play the game.
lovely work, on the index, Skill!
just a suggestion, maybe also add "Collectible Vehicles" in the "Tech Tree" tab on the Index too :D :D
ah finally, the tank that is pretty much an F1 when racing with Soviet MBT backwards
THANK YOU, I was waiting for this time for such a long time :)
I love my Archer, First ever Acewanker. Back in the day i drove around at 15km/h for a couple of weeks before I worked it out lol

I find the gun sucks hardcore. It is almost a derp gun in velocity and misses half the time. lol.
We love you skill! Keep up the good work! We appreciate all the effort of showing us mid to low Teri gameplay and giving out good info! Thanks
About the camo... UDES 03 used to have a good camo... but Equipment 2.0 (and probably wheeled light tanks) was a calamitous nerf.

You must be easily pleased then.
4:19 "and now we're feeling relatively well"
T-150, dying: *am I a joke to you?*
Fantastic video, and that looks like a pretty fun and unique little TD. Thanks skill!
Once I got the spotting triple crown with this on El Haluf... (Scout, Patrol Duty and Spotter ribbon)
Archer..... skill has entered the Danger Zone
phrasing!
I had a 40% wr on this when I first went up the tech tree. Went back and figured out how to play it later and now do much better.
Thanks great enjoyed this
What a coincidence, my girlfriend calls me Rubbin' Hood.
Great Video (as usual).
What about a video of the VK 36.01 (H)?
0:30 Forwards sir :DD
Skill, please cover the Achilles Tier 6 UK TD as well!
Welp we are in tanks starting with the letter A, Achilles!
I got the first Raider badge with the Archer 2nd time got with Type 5 Heavy... P.S. In my opinion All TD's that is paper should be like Archer well that they could go backwards faster... (If it has no fully rotating turret. )
If you look carefully, you'll notice that the Archer's driver sits in & faces the *rear*. The gun's mounted to the rear of the actual tank chassis.

i am not very understand your english, but as a retire WOT player, your skill was perfect
The tank is not actually driving backwards the gun is mounted backwards.
Thank you. Please make a video with T25 AT.
I play sneaky. My T54 prot has 45% concealment and I don't mind being bottom tier as I become a heavy scout.
5:00 don't say thing like that. Then I see top tier tortoise, t95, obj. 268v4 that camp couse purple player say that they can not push as a TD
I wished they would invert the controls for this tank. After all, it's the GUN that's mounted rearwards, not the tank...
Did I just warp into a alternate dimension???? The hell is with this half yellow half black skunk haircut??????
P.43 line please Skieeeeeeell!
I did not like the Archer, but I love the Achilles. 3 MoE on the Achilles.
Thx for playing a tank of my name!
Skill: you have to be passive with tank destroyers. Patients is the key and you cannot make pressure easily.
T95: Am i a joke to you?
It goes faster in reverse? Are you sure it's not a french tank? lol.
Lmao
amx 13 105 on main skeeeeeel
Outstanding game for tier V
yeah sure ...using bushes...i go behind 2 3 bushes shoot and they spot me :)))
Ok Skill I have a chalange for you: Show us how to play M3 Lee 🤭
it's so funny - guess what my name is?? Very clear comment on camo mechanics. Thanks skill.

Fortunately nowadays the Archer is a collector tank. You have to grind both the Achilles and AT-8 from the AT2.
Huzzah!
Hi there skill
I want to mention that you don't have six sense in index for this tank. Have a nice day 😘
Its Hobin Rood
