Matheus Milanez Lol indeed, in all honesty I'm not mad at all, Donovan has been playing without any passion in the past year for both Galaxy and the U.S. I'd rather see motivated young players like Green and Bedoya who have been playing good in europe.
Donovan is not going to Brasil? Wow what a shame, he is a really good player.

I'm 41 and I remember Andres Cantor as a commentator for Soccer since I was 11 and his zeal for the sport is iconic. We used to try to imitate him when we played soccer. Listening to him on this one really brought out tears!
this video is effing awesome. So much raw emotion into the commentator's call and in the people watching this epic moment. People will always remember "where they were when Donovan scored that goal."

I don't know what the hell the announcer is saying but I'll tell you this, his voice brings chills down my spine. What enthusiasm. Thats what I call passion.
My favorite part about all of these videos is that everyone is so upset after the miss, but immediately go crazy after donovan putts the ball in. Its so cool to see both reactions right after another. Donovan is a hero! USA!

Being there must have been a blast. And of course The Legend - Andres Cantor's play by play adds even more magic to a thrilling game in USA Soccer History.
What a fantastic call. I am not really even into soccer [despite playing it as a kid], but this brings tears to my eyes. I was traveling home that day and I got a text from my brother when I landed saying only the U.S won 1-0. I didn't find out how dramatic of a goal it was until I heard about it on the radio leaving the airport. Thanks for posting!
Listening to this announcer's passion as the game unfolds sends shivers down my spine. You can tell he's in tears after announcing the U.S. victory over Algeria. God Bless the USA. Even when I know Futbol (soccer) is huge in most other countries, I can rest assure that the US is now an official part of the FIFA FEVER. Welcome aboard.

Most of us grew up with him - when you couldn't get the US games on mainstream media. Even when the US media started paying attention, circa 1994, we still watched the Univision coverage. Most of us didn't understand a word but the emotion... it's al about the emotion.

@MrGamefreak54 He is a very famous play-by-play announcer here in the US. He used to call the games for the World Cup in TV but now he has his own radio station show. I have never heard him so emotional.

That's the passion we Hispanics put into this game, I guess it'is just a cultural thing.The announcer'name is Andres Cantor, born Argentinian and established in the USA for a long time now. I'm glad lots of USA sports fans are getting to appreciate and understand this beautiful sport the rest of the world call football.

Such a shame we didn't get any farther in the Cup, but that one brief moment of ecstacy shone through in every American that was watching and put a passion (even if it was only a little) for the sport in each one of them. Go USA 2014!

@soccerruben1, Hes at radio. Telemundo does not have the broadcast rights so Cantor gets the commentary on his own radio station.
