The opening screen may point back to when the Skrulls began secretly invading us in the past and how they have successfully changed the Marvel Universe in the present!
So that's why Everett Ross is so taken aback when Shuri calls him a Colonizer......
When i'm watching it for the first time, i thought agent prescott was the skrull. Especially when he attack agent Ross
I've got the opposite feeling because Ross was kind of downplaying the Skrulls and after Prescott attacks him, I was 100% sure that Agent Ross is a Skrull.

I’m guessing there’s going to be our Fury with no eye patch and a Skrull Fury with an eyepatch framing him for the President’s death to usher in Ross to take his place.
That's my feeling too...Fury is a motherfucking badass no doubt, but he can't be in two places at once. Everett thinks Fury's on S.A.B.E.R., when he's clearly down on the ground for this series and fighting for his life--yet we see A Fury walking and talking on its command deck in the trailer for The Marvels! ...of course, we can't be certain of the exact timing, events often overlap within the MCU across individual titles and the timeline has been wonky, but something has to give, right?!
@@archaelia Exactly! Plus, Fury is one of the only people capable of dismantling a covert alien invasion OR assassinating a sitting President…I would be trying to pin it all on him too if I were the Skrulls!

Super excited for this. Sometimes the Marvel world building leaps so far it's hard to stay energized for payoff 1-2 phases away. This is really relatable concept of geopolitics and i'll be interesting to see how after dealing with the Skrulls they handle introducing the X-Men. I can see this all setting the stage for a really tense landscape where people are extremely leery of mutants and we will be able to have the tones of fear and discrimination that we know from the comics.
Eric’s going this whole “scrawl-spicious” thing, when in reality, we need to remember the lesson from Scream “EVERYBODY’S A SUSPECT!”
Ross being a scroll wouldn't make much sense as he could just change appearance rather than being on the run
Well he took Ross's identity for a reason, there's something only Ross can do so obviously he would need his face. If the Skrull was in danger he could have changed the appearance, but he wants Ross's appearance that's why he's on the run.
None of it's canon, it's just a thought i had.
Im doubling down from another video where I think the device Prescott had can only be activated/used by Skrulls. It only comes on when Ross touches it and Ross knows he's caught and thats when they start fighting each other.
Fascinating, the question is if this is true, how does he get such device 🤔

Wow Rhodey has definitely been through a lot to being a U.S air force pilot to an Avenger and now the Secretary of State I wonder how he feels taking thunderbolt Ross's place I really hope we get to see Rhodey suit up in his war Machine armor
My first thought was that Prescott is the scrull here. That he's showing Ross their plan and then plans to overpower him. Maybe ross then kills him, discovering he's a scrull and then contacts fury. Maybe it's Ross, then I think he would be either dead or maybe stored in that place we see in the trailers, since I don't believe the Ross in BP1 is a scrull.

@@omarsubervinoboa5831 aren't skrulls rewriting their DNA when they shapeshift tho? I'm pretty sure Telos or someone else says something about that in Captain Marvel. So they would be stealth to DNA scanners
@@aaronmercier951 not sure, but wasn't it in BP1 he had surgery? That's what I referenced two. If it was in BP2 then that's still what I referrenced to. I believe they would have detected not human dna in him there if it was a scrull Ross.
