Awesome :D that’s my home park, in the last 20 years the park completely changed. I miss the old Phantasialand but the new Phantasialand is just on a world class level
Just came back from a coaster tripp in the states. Good coasters but i do miss the european theming.
Yeah, we have some good coasters here for sure. But the theming is just on another level in Europe!
There are no longer cycles on Mystery Castle (due to the limited space inside the air compression device used for the propulsion) - just two different ones. The switch happens at 2PM. I prefer the afternoon cycle as you have a longer drop from the top (while the other cycle gets you to the top first, this one gets you half way first, to then go back down and shoot up at once). Also, calling it a „drop“ is not correct from my pov, as it literally pulls you down faster than a free fall.

We go there quit often but we went last wednesday and Mystery Castle was the shortest we ever seen it run! All of us looked at each other were like what was that. Rookburgh is fantastic, just the atmosphare in there is world class. I hope you enjoyed your time.
The ride was SO cool!! But the cycle was so short, and it didn't even have a line.
@@cruiseandcoasters It never was that short for us and we walked right on! So that is why we were so surprised!

so sorry you had that incident with a member of staff. probably not her/his best day and they let it out on the customers, you were provable not the only one who felt their unprofessionalism. hopefully an isolated incident. i never visited phantasialand but this video made me want to go so bad! ❤️
It really caught me off guard in the moment - but overall it was a very small piece of a really good day.
@@cruiseandcoasters They might have instructions to not let people get in and out for safety reasons. So no customer will accidentally end up in the area where the drop happens. But I guess he should have communicated it better.
With Germany you always have to expect that sadly. It's just a different culture. I hate it too, but generally a lot of employees try to just do their job as quickly and efficiently as they can. If something gets in the way of that, they take it way to personally. Of course there are nice people in Germany too but for some that's just their mindset. I was yelled at very loudly by a Phantasialand employee too when I tried to record a show, and even though I was the one in the wrong, who technically could've just avoided that by not filming the show it just doesn't feel nice. But for the employee I'm the rulebreaker who doesn't listen to staff instructions which is why I understand that reaction.
I absolutely LOVE Phantasialand! We did 2 whole days (and two half days) but I think you can do 4 whole days here and not get bored at all! Love Chiapas and Taron so much! F.L.Y. left me speachless in wow way after first ride but rides I did later I did not enjoyed as much bcs of restraints (haven't done any other flying coasters), could not find comfortable position. Black Mamba was sadly closed during our visit 🥲
How was the weather in July?
We had really unusual weather… cold and rainy!
This summer was my first time in Phantasialand and it was amazing!! Also for my birthday🎉

@@cruiseandcoasters of course, but I think Taron is the best roller coaster, but Efteling remains my best amusement park
Taron was so good. Just the sound of the launches was so fun. I looooved Efteling!!! ✨

20:10 You have the option to not do it. Just tell the operator. Generally Crazy Bats is regarded as the best VR coaster in the world though, so it must have been a problem with your headset not properly syncing with the sensors on the roof of the station. I generally hate VR coasters but Phantasialand is the only park that does VR right in my experience. They also call it 'the most advanced VR coaster in the world" and most of the times, when it works properly it defintely is.
This is a great tip! Overall, it was the best VR Coaster I've done, but still not my cup of tea. I'll go without next time 😆

Those Near-Misses on Black Mamba are indeed crazy, and there are sooooooo many of them xD
And yea you are right, Taron, Talocan, Chiapas, River Quest, Raik, Black Mamba, Winjas, Mystery Castle, Colorado Adventure Crazy Bats...Each of these rides is one of the best, if not the best of their respective type in the entire world. And You can add F.L.Y. to that list as well, but it looks like you didnt got to witness it, so i left it out. But that means you literally HAVE to come back to this park, because F.L.Y. is an otherworldly experience, literally...(thinking also of its theming)
Feeling really sorry, for F.L.Y. was closed that day, hopefully it ran on your second day...But, dude, you really have the baddest of luck one can have on your trip...either the weather is idiotic or rides are closed while you are visiting...

@@cruiseandcoasters I just went to Phantasialand yesterday and I remembered your VLOG. Here you mentioned that you like TARON-Area in the Rain. That Rookburgh are is actually amazingly beautiful at night... they keep everything in steam and it looks.... kinda outta this world.

@@cruiseandcoasters I can recommend. Riding Taron at night is awesome. And riding FLY in the Dark with all the atmospheric illumination... outta this world.
Little Bummer: You can only do this in the winter months. At that time the park is open until like 8pm, and it gets dark sooner. They even have a Christmas Market then.
Only downside: In Winter it is cold and rainy.
Please stop saying LIKE almost every 3rd word is LIKE. If you had to pay $1 for every time you said LIKE it would be $2m

How come you missed out on River Quest???
It was only 60 degrees out and we were hoping to catch it when it warmed up. Sadly it never did. We will have to catch it when we come back!

So many world class attractions, some of which are the best in the world, or at least one of the best.
Plus the outstanding theming throughout.
