You are the FIRST person to tell me to make sure your brush is dryer than the surface is to give you control. IMMEDIATE differences! Everybody else is like BLOP BLAP BLEEP!?! There.... LOL! I was Soooo impressed I immediately bought on of your classes! Impressive! Ever thought of Patreon???
Thank you for a very good instructional method painting mist. I have hope now that I can do it. Thank you for sharing your gifts and abilities. God bless!
This is so lovely, Shelley. It reminds me of the San Juan Islands, near me. An orca jumping up would definitely put you there. So, peaceful and serene. I'll give this a go! Thanks for all your helpful tips. ❤
Thanks so much Shelley for taking the time to answer comments. I had a question way back on your Watercolor Rose demo if you are able to find the time to answer. I don’t know how you do it! So appreciative! You are the best!

Hi, from Oakville. I love your work! Funny, I just put up some Ikea shelves which looks very similar to yours. I did it for the same reasons you did. I don't have nearly as many as you, but enough . Lol I was going to attach a picture of my shelves, but I don't see the option.

Excellent demo. You really should never apologize for not being good at multitasking. No one is. Humans really can only process one thing at a time. One can switch quickly but no one is really good at it. I am shocked you try to paint, explain what you are painting and answer questions at the same time. Maybe you could try telling people you could answer some questions after the demo. Like how big is the painting etc not super relevant to what you are teaching. Anyway great job.
Good morning from New Zealand ,looking forward to seeing your water colours .

Very beautiful! Are you painting with the painting surface on a slope while doing the islands?
Not sloped in this case

Hi from Michigan!!
Beautiful
Another great lesson! Thank you! For this kind of painting, do you recommend stapling down the paper always?
I do since the dried painting will be perfectly flat.
Thanks. 👍
Love this thank you.
Very beautiful my dear friend and artist ❤❤I subscribed to your channel
This is a good lesson...What is this "Neutral tint" you speak of ?
Neutral is a lovely soft grey paint when used on its own. It’s semi-transparent and will neutralize just about any colour nicely as well.
@@shelleypriorfineart Thank you
I have a question. ..can I use ivory black instead of neutral tint?
It will need to be pretty diluted but it will give you the value you need. Black tends to be a flatter colour though.
@@shelleypriorfineart Thank you

WHAT COR ARE YOU USING WHEN REFERRING TO NEUTRAL TINT?
Neutral tint is a tube colour that you can buy. It’s a soft grey that’s slightly purple.
Merci ❤
This is only beautiful and then some
Hullo from a geology camp in Northern Angola
What color is neutral tint?
It’s a soft grey that appears slightly purple.
You threw in some cobalt blue at the last moment when painting the skies.
Thanks
