@@BangkokVoiceCoach- William, have you heard her sing this just 2 days prior in her home church? I would never have expected this answer... I don't know, maybe I'm more emotional than others... as many times as I've been psychologically tested, I've been told that typologically I'm mostly melancholic... so, somewhere, serotonin is to blame...so I didn't worry anymore...this is what I am and you don't mess with that, let's move on...with a large supply of handkerchiefs 😂
well it is that... time of the year. I see someone found one of her little gems! nice to see again... thanks for the effort you have put in this video... enjoyed watching this... Happy Holidays to you and to all out there and to Amirland.
Different concert, "Ave Maria" by Gomez. A must See. Phenomenal. Amira was not on that stage, she was in another Universe one can see it in hers eyes at the end.
You are absolutely the best, truthful reactor for our Divine Princess! i have to listen to this again to recount your poetic words of unbelievable wonderment. She is simply indescribable! i love this beautiful Christmas hymn as it reflects the true meaning and glory of the birth of our Lord & Saviour, Jesus Christ. Of course Amira sings like she is an angel at His feet. "Fall on your knees; O hear the Angel voices! O night divine, O night when Christ was born O night, O Holy night, O night divine!"
@@BangkokVoiceCoach- she has been given to the world from God, who desires lost souls be found through Amira's voice and soul. At the end of her 2 CD set, "Amira Streaming Shows of 2020," she says it all in her own words: • "Lastly, but most importantly, I want to thank God for trusting me with this special talent. I promise to use it in honour of You, to spread Your love and Your kindness through music. Thank you for blessing my family and me with so much love and happiness the past 9 years. Thank you for giving music to the world so that Your name can be heard and celebrated. Thank You for the music. For giving it to me." To God be the Glory -

There is a promotional video of her DVD/CD "on my own" now posted it is a must get on my list and I believe it is a clear demonstration her adult soprano voice is just as magical as her younger years Surely she is on a path to greatness. An edit, I want to say how lucky the world is to have such an excellent collection of videos going back to when she was just seven years old.😊
I'm glad you see beyond the performance and see meaning. Have you like me wondered how much poorer in a spiritual way we would all be if we had not discovered Amira?
... 'Have you like me wondered how much poorer in a spiritual way we would all be if we had not discovered Amira?'...A rhetorical question and therefore general because it is valid for us over 1/2 million on this planet. Brilliant and inspirational at the same time. Thanks and a bright Christmas celebration through and with Amira in our thoughts
Thank you William for your thoughtful review. What a nice way to start the Christmas Season. I know Amira, having a deep Christian faith, would appreciate your kindness and insight. I hope you and your family have a Joyous and Blessed Holiday. From a new Subscriber in Arizona, the Grand Canyon State, USA.
Thank you for this reaction, William. It is great to see you taking such delight in her singing. Amira fans in South Africa, take note that she will be singing in Sandton at the Theatre on the Square at 13:00 on the first of December. It is a fairly small theatre and seating is unreserved for this lunchtime concert.
If you listen closely you can hear the little girl voice in this performance. One more thing. Her wave at the end of the performance comes from the time on Holland’s got talent when she walked on stage she was waving to her family and friends there to support her. Her rapidly growing fan club encouraged her to keep doing it. So she continued only now she is waving to her fans. I think she is moving on from that now.
What a great assessment /reaction. It's one of my favourite carols, and I think it's one of Amira's favourite's too, she has sung it quite frequently She sang it at the Albert Hall aged 10, and last year in a Dutch TV studio. The lady they cut to was celebrating her birthday, which is why the television people, and Amira, were there. As well as sounding like an angel, she looks like one, wrapped in white fur. It is a delightful video. Do you think she is aware of all those technical aspects that you mentioned, the breathing and positioning of the vowels, or is she just doing it naturally, letting the best sounding notes flow out as seem right? I think when she was younger, she just let nature take over. If she was working on creating it, it wouldn't sound so good.
Andrew, that is the burning question: at that age, how aware was she of such perfection? She was a super-gifted child and had an extraordinary ability to assimilate information and also to imitate well what she likes to listen to. As adults, we tend to make things much more difficult than they need to be but this in itself doesn’t fully explain her connection to something truly ‘Great.’ I believe there must be some reincarnation of the soul here. She is an angel on this Earth and has a divine message. There’s something about the innocence of the child’s message which goes directly to the heart.
This is what Gordon Heuckeroth, one of the judges at "Holland's got Talent" said after Amira's first audition: "It is said that old souls live on in people, and hearing you singing it's almost as if you got the soul of Maria Callas who unfortunately isn't here anymore."
Many thanks, William! Amira sang this in a church in the Hague in 2015. I think it was in celebration of the 105th birthday of the lady who is pictured in the video and was a fan of Amira. Someone mentioned O Sole Mio with Amira and Ben Heijnen. Would be interested in your reaction.
@@BangkokVoiceCoach Actually it was a Christmas special of the weekly Dutch tv programme "Max maakt mogelijk" (Max makes possible). Wonderful William - Amira also sang this in the Royal Albert Hall about a year after her "Holland got Talent" journey - I don't know if you have listened to it but she raises the roof in the Royal Albert - mesmerising stuff...
@@BangkokVoiceCoach there were two versions of the Albert Hall video, one about 3. 50 long filmed from her left, the other at 4.10 or so, filmed from above her right shoulder. This one has a visual intrusion in the middle when someone wants to change seats and stands up. - both seem to be done on mobile phones. - I tend to prefer the shorter video without the interruption, even though the applause is cut short. There is also a short clip of her with the other artists, taking a final bow at the end of the cncert, and you can see just how small she is.
Great reaction and analysis, love this Christmas song. And she does it beautifully. You should check out Home Free’s cover it is spectacular. Hope you check it out would love to see your reaction to it as well.
William. Roquemaure, where the debut of this piece took place, borders exactly on the province of Vaucluse around Orange in France, after which the William of Orange royal family is named. All the first born man were called William from Orange, a name that the Dutch royal family has borne for centuries because the family lived there a long time among their mandarin plantations. So the happening in that dutch church had briefly brought together a number of things. Including your name.
