This is not my favourite Amira song, maybe because it drifts away from her usual repertoire. It's also 6 years ago. You don't seem to approve of children singing. But Amira is an adult now, and there are plenty of recent stunning performances which you might approve of on the age scale. On the question of vowels, I think it is her Dutch accent you are finding fault with. You are trying to Americanise her, put her in a box you feel comfortable with. You are right that she is a smart cookie, she left school top of her year and is now at uni studying for a BA in music. She doesn't need to heed opinions as much as when she was young. She is more than capable of forging her own path.
You're completely wrong for one simple reason: you haven't heard enough from Amira. You've prioritized a preconceived judgment, and by not basing yourself on the concrete you've failed to realize how special she is. If we were in 1766 you would make a video titled “This is the last live react i will do of Mozart”.
The last react of Mozart! Love that! Well, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It just feels a little icky to me to continue to proliferate the sensationalist career or someone so young. But I suppose to each their own! She does have a BEAUTIFUL voice! :)

Her rendition of The Holy City/Jerusalem is a sweetly edited version which she sings only in Afrikaans, her mother tongue (her mom taught her at home in Holland, and she perfected her culture at school & at home, in Potchefstroom, in South Africa; she is fluent in three languages and sings in 'any language': her flexible Dutch & Afrikaner genes!) You're right, Amira is a classic cross-over singer who sounds awesome and blends with her singing partners and learns from her teachers. She continues to gain invaluable experience in South Africa, however far from Europe it is, and there certainly is a European flavour of art within the huge music industry, there, long before the film studios were expanded as well. You Should Stop evaluate Singers and Music all together and Work on Your own singing or rather your Screeching 😏 Amira is one of the best Musical Artists this Would has ever seen.
Admittedly, as writtten by a Roman critic, "de gustibus et coloribus non est disputandum" (In matters of taste and colours, there can be no disputes). However, don't forget the wise words of another famous expert, originally from Scotland : Never Say Never Again... Finally, it's a pity to react to three Lincoln's speeches and to forget the Gettysburg adress... According to some sceptical critics on YT, Amira's most impressive performance was her rendition of Ave Maria by William Gomez in Canisius Church. So, save the best till last! 😊
Guess you're a bit jealous.. 😁 If you listen to the reviews from professional vocal couches, opera singer coaches, she has the most perfect composure, naturaly reaching very high notes, no squeezing at all. I agree that many young kids may ruin their voice by pushing too hard too young. You wish you could sing like her, and that maybe one day you may reach level.
So, wait and see what happens in the next years... I'm more than confident. More generally speaking, when Beverly Sills performed Lucia di Lammermoor's title role at the Palais Garnier in 1971, a classical music critic wrote in The New York Times : "She takes on a series of much-publicized but highly ambitious bel canto roles that punished her light, lyric voice, which by its very nature is not suited to music of this sort". To sum up, as Pope wrote in an essay on criticism : "In Poets as true Genius is but rare, True taste as seldom is the critic's share; Authors are partial to their wit, 'tis true, But are not critics to their judgment too?". No offense, but in my humble opinion, this applies to music as well.. 😊
But Amira is nowhere close to sing Opera roles. Her sining technique do not fit opera. She still at 20 sings amplified. Her voice is fitted for musical type of music with elements of operatic incorporated.
Amira is now 20, so you may find your fears are allayed. Your American English affects your judgment in some ways, and you should bear in mind that English is a foreign language to both of them. Operatic arias have always been Amira's favourite genre. She is not so comfortable in a pop setting. See the Flower Duet, Nessun Dorma, La Vergine Degli Angeli, from Verdi's La Forza del Destino (age 16), and Ebben? Ne Andro Lontana (2023). Perhaps these will be more to your classical taste.
