I kno this may seem a bit hyperbolic, but I think the Zerg's static defense with the sunken and spores in all the bases made a huge difference/impact.. and of course the science vessel hunting which goes without saying lol
This was a freaking good game by the way! Throughout the game, it looked like Flash was fooling around with Larva. Larva was completely on the defensive, not one attack, not one Terran expand attacked. But I tried my luck again by betting on the Zerg in a completely Zerg-doomed time of the game. 🙃 It's strange for you to see the Zerg winning from such an almost 100% sure lose position.
That was insane from lavra, to survive that pressure in the beginning and then put pressure of his own with singnificantly smaller armies (then flash had at that moment) but just enough to overwhelm him on different fronts, and the plague and scourge was on point a whole time, unbelieveble.
what an absolutely amazing game, like how could Larva come back from that? Looked like Flash's game for most of it but Larva just kept coming back and always mounted counter-attacks. Amazing!
Larva got to 75 drones early while flash was on 50 and mined super fast. He was constantly producing so his bank looked empty and he looked down in supply but you can see jumps from 100 to 150 and back to 100 real fast.
@@acardioxc could be nice yeah, though I'd really like to see battlecruisers with marines working together like in an older video I can't recall, was epic video like the starcraft cutscene
Well that seems to be what happens due to pros always sending them alone floating into a zerg base. He did use D matrix on a BC early on and I got my hopes up but no that was a one off.
I think Flash just didn't take seriously for this game. Basically he sent those BCs to Larva Bases with no control but just for fun. It's just not his style having a big bank in the game.
He did put the BCs spaced away from each other so that Larva would have to plague or scourge each BC individually. Flash control was needed else where though to do irradiate, drops, expand, and avoid lurkers/dark swarm.
Why didnt the Terran player go nuke? or Vulcans? considering he only went for infantries, those Ultras would always tear them a new one like they did here.
When the Ultralisk is radiated it becomes even more dangerous with this radiation damage bonus. Because the Ultralisk can carry tons of radiation, other bio units can't. When Terran Radiat your Hydralisk , turn your Hydralisk into an Lurker egg. Аlso when Zerg players must should try sometime when a Terran irradiates zerg units then eat infected unit with Defiler. Even in cases where another Defiler was radiation infected, eat him with the healthy Defiler. That way you never lose units, feed your Defilers in this case at least they will not die in vain.
Still not sure how larva won this game! He lost every single one of his tech buildings (Spawning pool, Spire, Hydralist den, ultralisk cavern & the Defiler mound AND his lair)...but he somehow rebuilt it all and turn the game around
Spending all those resources on BCs is same if Protoss will spend his resourses on Scouts.. Why, just why) On same resources just Drop Ships with Marines would do 400% more work being 500% more cost effective)
Only massive siege tanks with +3/3 AD can deal with lings & ultras protected by darkswarm efficiently. I've seen many Flash TVZ games before, when the game came to the later period, Flash always won with high AD upgraded mechanical army by arranging massive siege tanks with layered positions. Siege tanks' massive firepower und splash damage can destroy zerg's ground army even if they are under the darkswarm. If Flash had spent resources on siege tanks instead of battlecruisers he would have won this game
Or, you know...stop sending BCs alone unsupported into the zerg bases? Why send 2 or 3 BCs at a time? Why not build up a larger force and have the yamatos blasting those ultras?
@@Ziegfried82 I guess perhaps this time he focused too much on destroying tech bulidings and forgot to use his BCs to strike on Larva's economy. 2-3 BCS in zerg base can force zerg players to create a great deal of scourges to against them, and this would lead to cannot have enough scourges to reduce the number of sceince vessels. That's why I said Flash had sent BCs to wrong positions. After a few rounds of assaults without result, Flash had run out of his resources so that he couldn't produce larg force anymore. But Larva successfully kept his incoming
this game lived up to its hype! it felt like brood war cinematic intro hahaaha! Thanks falcon!
Larva, just staying alive the first 35 mins was Epic enough. But then to go on and win it. What a miracle
I really have a feeling, that Flash just got too comfortable with his 4k+ bank and maxed out supply.
What a sick game? Larva's macro is unbelievable.
Favorite foot gamer by far.
Larva's mutas died so fast to Flash's targeting, and that lurker dodge... it's amazing Larva survived that early game. His macro is so good.
He is way better than that one-build guy JaeN00b
I think, that if Flash sent his BC to the mining bases of Larva, instead of his main base, he would have won it.
Either that or keep the BCs with the main force so you have the D matrix on them and can use resto when plagued.
@@Ziegfried82 also he researched yamato gun. Yamato on 3-4 ultraslisk would be huge aswell
The BC were just so that scourge don't attack his vessels maybe, to free up his control from vessel irradiate.
I kno this may seem a bit hyperbolic, but I think the Zerg's static defense with the sunken and spores in all the bases made a huge difference/impact.. and of course the science vessel hunting which goes without saying lol
I'd second this. Those investments on Sunken and Spores paid off significantly in late game.
spores and sunkens are hidden supply that affect the fighting power of the game.
These guys never disappoint. What a game.

I wanted to catch it live, but missed it.
Such a great game.. why I love Larva so much. It's insane what he can do
Gsssss what a come back! =X Unbelievable.
AMAZING Zerg play!!!
I was 75% sure near beginning that he was going to lose and WOW did he turn that around!
oh no the almighty Flash has fallen. His record on the channel is now 63 wins 24 losses
yes you are right. if 10 years ago Flash and Jangbi are the best ones.
That was insane from lavra, to survive that pressure in the beginning and then put pressure of his own with singnificantly smaller armies (then flash had at that moment) but just enough to overwhelm him on different fronts, and the plague and scourge was on point a whole time, unbelieveble.
Such enjoyable game and cast once again. But, I can't help myself not to mentrion the "nice plague" that cought 1 BC and 2 hatcheries @28:10
Amazing game. Great comeback. These type of games are fun win or lose.
Flash makes Terran look so easy, he takes bases with such ease. I think he could’ve still won, but what a good game from larva
Great game cast
WOW!! Thank you!!! Any other race being the underdog the entire game is totally winnable. Zerg virtually never. So this was totally amazing :D
What a game! Flash should have turned into mech as soon as the ultralisk showed up
what an absolutely amazing game, like how could Larva come back from that? Looked like Flash's game for most of it but Larva just kept coming back and always mounted counter-attacks. Amazing!
I'm getting high with this game. thank you for shooting the videos:)
That was intense the whole time just constantly going back and forth
34:03 this Ultralisk no joke won the fkn game hahaha
Ive never seen Flash losing so many science vessels before. Maybe he’s older and slower when the game was played
That was epic for sure!
You keep plunging the dagger in, Falcon Paladin!!!
16:06 Science vessels getting some needed repairs! 👍
The curse of Battlecruisers is REAL!
YYYYEAAAAAH! LARVA! LET"S GOOO!
MUCH respect to Larva! I thought Larva was going to tap out but just came back with intensity! Great game!
EPIC indeed! what a come back

Larva lost a hive and never rebuilt it again. That would be risky to lose spire or defiler mount having only hatcheries
I really missed that. I really missed when terran medic were be able to mc the hatchery and the queen could infestation i really missed that
This was an amazing game! Thank you!
these battlecruisers didnt pay for themselves
Yeah, I'm wondering if investing in siege tanks would have been better to deal with the ultras

One the best games I've ever seen!
this match is one of the best I've ever seen in my life
This episode is just like watching Starship Troopers 🚀🪐
Wooooow what a sick game.. holy larva is a God.
"SK Terrain, operational." Granted, a-moving them into the enemy main is... probably not the best use of battlecruisers.
Why didn't flash get more barracks? At a point he had 4k+ minerals but only 8 marines being produced at a time.
What a comeback!
From now on Larva shall now be referred to as "Captain A-Move"

Either that or got cocky when he had huge advatange at income.
Can someone tell me why the terran had their bay/factory just floating around?
Scouting!
Does 1 zergling count as 1 unit in statistics after the game?
Or is 2 Zerglings 1 Unit?
2 zerglings=2 units in the statistic
@@JJtoutcourt thx
been watching these replays and can the zerg be beaten ? except if they sleep on the job i mean ? did not see that yet in the replays.
You are pretty new at this don't you?
@@aetius31 i am
@@carloshuamandelosheros9835 Protoss has the highest win rate. I don't know what it is between zerg & terran but they are pretty even.
That was a insane game I thought flash will be the winner but its not what it looks like awesome
Gran juego!! Buenisimo!
Larva played this battle very good. i like the way he plays Zerg than Jeadong
I literally think Larva has surpassed Jaedong at this point.
Great job Larva 💪🏼👍🏼
How the heck did Larva win that game!?

People, lets never give up❤ WE got this🎉 Just keepmaking plays, Just keep showing Up, WE be winning in Life!!!
I don't understand the conditions of victory, can you tell me?
You win when all the enemy buildings are destroyed, but gamers often GG and quit, giving you the victory, if they feel that the situation is lost.
21minute prediction: Larva, because he hasnt lost enougg bases
Games like this give me hope for Zerg! Unreal Macro
Super game :)
amaizing come back
Epic!
Am I the only one whodoes t understand why no one uses Queens to infest CCs when they get low? If nothing else it still takes a source of income
That was crazy
Not gonna lie that game was insane, definitely gave up hope and skipped ahead only to spoil it for myself 😭
frenchs mustard vs spicy brown deli mustard.
The tease!
Sick game !!! Love larva
Oh la la - Zerg is coming
The game is imba, how is it possible that the Zerg only have half of the supply throughout the game and still win?

You know how Larva likes his Flash ? best served with Dijon mustard :p
(seriously I didn't know it was that famous !)
For the algorithm
omg what a game!!
Battlecruiser's are such a dumb idea. Flash shoulda gone Goliath's. Or if he absolutely HAD to go airbourne, then go Wraiths.
wow... great game!!!
Larva the best of the best!!!
Can't beat the feet!
holiday brrooooodwaaarrr!
you cant make BCs without valkyr support
maybe ghosts would have been more useful in this strategy

Plagues one BC and two hatches "Nice plague!" I mean it's better than not plaguing probably but not every plague is a nice plague
Save the medic. If Terran had saved Medick, Terran would have won.
