You create animations like if valve created small half life shorts of daily life in black mesa. You added even more life to already liveley characters from a game from 1998.
The bounce of the camera really adds to it.
I was ready to ask if I miss something, coz I never played any data disks in hl1 🤣
or some form of documentary, with some fails for us to laugh about. but yeah, he sure did add more life to these characters than valve already did with their first game for a quake mod!

It's honestly kinda cute and behaves like an animal would. Frightened, curious, and a weeeee bit territorial..
I'd never noticed that the houndeye model has a beak mouth similar to headcrabs. They did a good job with making the Xen ecology feel like something that all evolved in the same place (even if that doesn't make a lot of sense in light of HL2)
xen is a border world to many other dimensions, there are no "native" species, hence why headcrabs are there but there doesnt appear to be prey for them other than humans, they likely fed on very human like aliens
I love that detail you pointed out, I kinda came to the same conclusion when looking at the bullsquid's anatomy, its super rare for 3 legged animals in nature so seeing how closely they looked to the houndeye was a really cool theory i uad just floating around.
I thought Xen was simply a habitat for multiple creatures from several planets tbh considering how they do tend to be pretty inconsistent in their design.
For example, the Gargantuan and the beta Chum Toad looks pretty similar, while the Headcrabs and Gonarch (along with the other beta aliens like Mr Friendly) are also separate creatures.
Nvm I looked up the lore again, and yeah no creatures are ever native to Xen.
@@ammagon4519I mean it's not stated when they arrived in zen so they could be differently evolved and adapted with similar features due to being in the same environment.

There are only a few things in the Garry's Mod/Half-Life universe that are beaten by the Skibidi Toilet *fandom*. Keyword *fandom*... They're just flat out disgusting on how they steal it and use it to get their own fame.
On the other hand, the original collection of short animations of the toilets with male_07 heads (among other hl2 citizen models) are weird, but in an interesting way... Interesting enough for even me to find some sort of liking to it.
