That's a great little sawmill. It's pretty amazing that you didn't use massive steel stock for the build. It seems fairly light weight but really cuts well. You must feel very happy with the result.

Lookin' good!! Sawdust in the work area is nothing compared to nasty swarf. It cleans up easily and well. Also, that blade cut through your log pile like a HOT knife through buttah!! Congratulations on nearing the completion to this excellent tool! BTW, I didn't see any mill blade lubricator. Didn't I see a water reservoir earlier in the build??
Lastly, I bet you've already been back to your forest lot and retrieved many good logs for lumber making. If not, get er' done!!!

Any carbon monoxide risks from using that petrol engine in an enclosed space? I mean, sure, it's not very powerful and it's not running for hours, but neither is my foundry burner, and it does trip the CO alarm if I don't have the shed window and door wide open.
The cut quality is impressive, and so are the new comfort of use improvements! Any plans to add a dust bag or a vacuum hose to reduce the dust spread a little?

I have a CO meter and it trips the alarm if I don't do anything. Open door and a fan, it hasn't been a problem yet.
