Yeah that is one of the main issues I had, as good as the 250m distance is, you can’t really see a lot. In hindsight we should’ve had some of the damage control on look out until we were in combat then they would go back to damage control.
It hoesntly seems like their should be another crew member who aids in spotting. So when the ship is engaged with calling out gun coords the other spotter can be watching everything else. Because having to do all of it yourself seems like too much in the heat of combat like that.
Yeah 100%, this was definitely a learning experience, it can get a bit confusing with 20+ people onboard so we were thinking of separating into groups with the spotter being able to talk with everyone.
I was in fact Angry at a reloader not closing the door ( or hatch) while we had water flowing from one room to an other because of that one person, when 15 were managing just fine while having to both repair, load and cross paths but i hope they didnt take it personnaly, it was a " in the heat of the moment" thing^^ ALSo, wow that was wonderful eclipse xD, i had a totally different experience while in the same ship, i had a real feeling of organized mess, like an orchestra without a maestro but with common sense to make it all work ( purely speaking of the damage control part ), thats a must try experience tbh.
Actually competent naval operations in Foxhole? Impressive! I'm still mixed on whether the spotter should be the captain, or if the captain should be walking about and the weapons officer should be the spotter.
We sort of said the spotter should be the captain with 1 or 2 more bino spotters. With the information the spotter has, they should be the shot caller.
The collie battleship has 2 triple barrel 150m 1 front, 1 back of the boat while the warden has 3 150 dual barrel cannons 1 front, 1 middle, 1 back with 2 120 guns either side. Both battleships “technically” have the same 150m output, but with the additional 120m guns on the warden BB, a broadside fight favours them, (for example the first fight in this video) and yeah less (minimum) crew is a good advantage. I do like how siege camp are trying to balance it but the true test will be on the full release version.
would it be effective to focus fire 1 section of the ship let say near the ammo room or just to flood it so they have a hard time brining shells to their batterys
I’m pretty sure it’s best to be shooting all over the hull, to make as many holes as possible, the battleships have crazy amounts of health and I think in this update war, we will see most battleships dying from the water than the health depleting. I like your idea though, flooding the ammo rooms to make it difficult to reload I will definitely look into that.
My cousin and I are really looking forward to playing a ship together... I really hope its feasible to play at least 1 ship as a small crew so we dont have to gather too many people... Ive seen subs with like... 6. It would be fun to play as a minelayer with just the two of us reaking havoc behind enemy lines and whatnot
The BigBL guys have been playing around with the subs and I’m pretty sure you can run a sub with 4 but its quite hard and if anyone dies then the sub wouldn’t be able to operate, best of luck to you, that sounds fun!
I was thinking how it would work with the high pops, but I can’t imagine many people would be on the wide hexes, because there isn’t really a frontline to fight on.
Hey I like how your channel isn’t a million F bombs being dropped all the time. I really want to make storytelling content about Foxhole like what you’re up to. I’ll look for ya out there in the Foxhole world, maybe we can collab sometime
Thanks! Foxhole is a great game for storytelling, because everyone will have a completely different experiences, It seems cool stuff happens every hour on foxhole. And 100%, look forward to seeing you out there!
Sorry about the timing on this one, only had 1 day to edit, thank you for watching!
yeah yeah yeah you are so important blablabla
@@ptitemerde1 haha thanks for your comment mate :)
I wish they would just call them cruisers since they have medium caliber guns (battleship prob be 300mm or lower)
Yeah I seen some talk about this on reddit, It could be a update in the future.
even 400mm. but there is so much ship you can fit in a foxhole map / screen. I'm impressed with what they came up with so far xD
Imma be honest just one or two extra dudes with binos makes that big a difference on the sea.

Around 8:00 you put "angry french talking". But he wasnt that angry. He said "please close the door".
Haha that’s funny, he sounded super angry.

Happy to see Osieauvelu in full force!
If my reloader hadn't abandon me, I would had gotten 4 or 6 more shells out before sinking.
Dammnnn, we were sooo close to winning.

Could you imagine hearing this from the shore. Gnarly.
Haha everyone screaming and the endless volley of 150/120 shells, music to my ears
Oooooh Im so ready. The veteran crews that start to develop are going to make these things efficient killing machines.
They have HUGE potential to be crazy strong, I can’t wait for the tactics that form for BB vs BB fights.
Collie battleship has less turrets so it has the advantage of requiring less crew & less coordination. But they're slightly bigger & easier to hit.

Great video, although the fog was unfortunate
Thanks! And yeah you're right, really really tough with the fog, i'm glad we got out of there alive.
the french accent is so prefect
As a Brit I’m gonna have to disagree 😅
as a french I have to say it is realy bad@@EclipseZ123
But they built a battleship so
Realy nice vidéo BTW
@@viper_gaming2061 Haha, true mister France was one of the people who built the battleship (also captained it) and Thanks! I really appreciate it!

Volleys look so juicy!
Especially towards the end of the last fight 😍
yay 1000 subs 😃
WOOHOO!
I still dont see how battleship with large crew numbers is a good feature, when players always get stuck in queue especially later in the wars.
I was thinking how it would work with the high pops, but I can’t imagine many people would be on the wide hexes, because there isn’t really a frontline to fight on.

Great video! I don't play Foxhole but I like watching videos about it. Hope to see some sub videos sometime (maybe you kill a battleship?).
Thank You! We’ve got a couple subs waiting at the base, and fingers crossed we kill a battleship 😂
