I have done the same retreat for 10 days in thailand. It was the best thing I have ever done in my life! I definitely will do it again. But you do need to prepare yourself. it isn't easy to determine the whole journey mentally and physically !

Yes definitely, for me what helps the is to relax into it and not try to take it too seriously, that's when to most growth can happen.

I had the good fortune to spend four months in Chiang Mai and the surrounding mountains back in 2013. Did you go up to Wat Phra That on Doi Suthep?
Love the temples….. I went for Refuge in the Triple Gem and accepted the Five Precepts at a Theravada Buddhist temple. So many beautiful temples in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar and Sri Lanka also. I’m retiring to Cambodia this year, from Canada.
    Namo Buddhaya, 🙏🏼 🙏🏼 🙏🏼 ☸️ ✈️ 🌴 🌴 🌴 🙂

@@angeladietrich2568 Haven’t decided yet. I’ve only been to Siem Reap before. There are a few other cities I want to visit when I go back. And then I will decide.
