It’s not really the same thing thing though. Kiuchi isn’t sexually harassing Mohota he just hates her guts cause his career took a nosedive after she hit a home run against him at age 6
I’m not denying there’s a similarity or two but I kinda get sick of people calling it a “carbon copy” just because some of these theives’ battles are similar. Personally, I see the similar look as being a result of each boss embodies a certain vice more than others, which gives the, a certain appearance aesthetic. For example, Madarame and Himoru are both extremely vain, which causes them both to gain appearances similar to a Noble shogun. Kamoshida is obviously a perverted sexual harasser, hence lust, and while Kiuchi seems better fit for Wrath at first glance, he is also revealed to have issues with women and acting in a way that led him to be accused of being a sexual harasser by them, leading him to also be representative of Lust and gaining a underwear wearing love themed look like Kamoshida.
Considering the theme of the game in Qooapp is about a lack of desire, which itself is the opposite theme of Ren's journey, I welcome the parallel angle of the bosses, if this one is any indication. However, I feel the need to scratch my head at the music change during the transformation read. This boss fight could have been better too with voice acting and proper animation. Especially in regards to the VA, it's already there in the earlier parts of the story. Will they improve this in the final game? We can only wait and see.

Does it actually bring anything new to the table ? Or is it just the Persona 5 five at home ? Because for a Phone game i rather just keep at Dx2 if you ignore the endless load screens

I am curious as well since the P5 writers did help with making this game's story. The theme for P5X is "Finding your way in life" which is why the Velvet room is represented by a Aquarium due to how it represents the Sea of Souls still lost in life about what they want to do so they go with the flow in society. The Tutorial chapter story represent this a bit with the first boss being a person who had a dream as a baseball player but he lost his dream and ended up becoming just like the majority and went with the flow in life by getting a mundane job as a Salaryman (most of the time in anime/manga represents people who just given into the collective mass of people who have no dreams in life). Though his dream is given a new path now he knows that his past being a Baseball player did inspire others to become Baseball players as well. The P5X MC himself is also someone who has not found his way in life yet which is why his reaction to the world is mundane since he is just going with the Flow of human society like the majority who still do not know what to do with their life or had their dreams crushed already.
