@@RD2 tbh I've disliked almost every chapter recently, so I mostly play stw, but I did find OG fortnite a lot more enjoyable. I'm not bad at the game either, average unreal/top rank every season since chapter 1, the simpler gameplay from back then is a lot more enjoyable in my opinion.

Me and my friend have been playing Save the world together for a year now. I was a founder and he wasn’t so I got v-bucks and not him, and yet, he often plays it. It just proves that Save The World has a real potential player base and not just people interested in the V-bucks

It was STW that hooked me first in 2017 and got me to open my wallet for the llama loot boxes and Founders Edition, etc. I've always wished STW would have been the one that blew up like BR did. Although not financially smart, I would absolutely firehose money directly at STW if Epic brought it back into the fold along with the rest of the metaverse and gave it actual content. Your idea of a STW battle pass legit filled me with joy, now lets hope it happens! 😄

Honestly the 2 main things i can say that will 100% increase the player base is make the Menu more simple and easier for new players and just make the Game Free and make the start packs give heroes instead of STW access. I just know it will work

There's 2 major problems that come with the increase in popularity of Save The World, aside from corporate greed. 1. The playerbase becomes less dense with educated players and more players will fall into the toxic trading and such playstyle in the early game. This will require multiple changes to the game to remedy so that this problem does not grow or is solved entirely. Those changes being the inability to drop items in zones that they cannot be found in, and the game wide removal of broken weapons and items created by bugs, exploits, and dev mistakes many years ago (not including legacy weapons). 2. There are almost 800 bugs and issues currently known about, and a majority of them need to be fixed if the game's popularity continues to improve to prevent a disappointed and annoyed new playerbase. I enjoyed this nice concise video, I hope you continue some content related to Save The World in the future.
At the end of the day executives don’t know the difference between pve and pvp. They just think it’s all shooters. So they have their shooter game mode and make content for that in battle royale but if they wanna make new profits they think they should expand to other types of game genres to get a new player base. That did not work. Making content for people who actually like Fortnite works which is seen in OG. So bringing save the world would be a great move and making it more like destiny or helldivers would really help.
Just imagine if they executed a live event centered around a zombie theme! (STW) zombie-related. The island faces a significant threat from a zombie virus, and it would be incredible if they turned this concept into an entire season or something similar with new content for STW aswell. It’s an opportunity that can't be missed!
As a PL 145 player and done the platinum trophy I have nothing left to do in STW. It’s a fantastic game and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. I only play for vbucks and 160 missions now and ventures if I can be bothered. Look how much effort they have put into Lego and rocket racing etc. STW was the first mode and it’s been left in the dust and so sad to see and play. Continued gameplay bugs that are in the game for months on end just shows how epic treats STW. I’m hopeful one day in the future it’s gets some real love and we finally get a Twine quest line like they promised.

OG fortnite will return, if they bring drift boards back, they should fix the controls bug, you can’t turn as fast as before while you try to turn while in the air. And they can fix the racetrack bug that happened in OG season last year, race wouldn’t start.
As Save the world is one of my most played gamemode in fortnite, I am very excited to hear about the new content. I have also discussed on your streams about the "open World" option. I really think it would change this gamemode for the better. Making it feel more replayable than what we currently have.
The badge system sounds great. Giving og skins og styles for people who owned them before kinda defeats the purpose of adding the old skins back, since it’s just replacing one skin someone wants with another, but a badge would mean that doesn’t happen, and og owners could still have some type of recognition
I always wanted enhancements to STW. Like make the graphics better without changing the old fortnite style, close the quality of the cinematic trailer with the lighting. We definitely need that new UI I've heard about and make the emote wheel the modern one but make it still function like the STW wheel. I love this game and its characters, and I hope they make it better for both new and old players.
I’m feel like they should make a zone beyond twine peaks, instead of it being on the same planet, launch the rocket would board you onto the rocket and to another planet perhaps, giving us new types of materials and equipment, would make sense since ray said at the start “oh great…they’re in space to..”

If they fixed the time wasting mainline quest there are MANDATORY to complete. I hated it when I had to “find the survivor radar”. You had to find some stupid thing that wasn’t even marked on your map.
They’ve been ramping up the updates this past year with the new zones and missions plus all the other QOL and UI stuff making the game look polished again. I can realistically see them going free to play for real this time and making it another core mode like festival.
STW has consistently proven itself to be superior than epic’s metaverse plan. It overtook rocket racing entirely and festival too. Epic needs to open their eyes and realize the metaverse is just a phase, and it’s just the better option to return to their roots and continue the STW story again.
Man , the really thing I regret about STW is not buying founders , I’d been a mobile player for all of c1 and very early c2 so I didn’t even have the option for buying founders. I was only able to get samurai scrapper for stw and by that time founders had been removed
I do love the idea of an open world stw mode. Maybe they can use the br maps for the open world mode to test it out? If it does work out, then maybe use the assets from the br maps and make a new map for the open world mode once it get out of beta. I also feel like if they want to go for this route, they would either need to hire people in the stw community to do content updates or hire a indie dev company that would just be dedicated to release new content updates for stw since epic could really care less about it.

Don't rework the current missions, just make new ones. If you were to rework them you will still be left will the same few missions just slightly different. But, I do think they should not rework but make changes like reducing the evacuate the shelter timer, that timer is WAY too long.
I really really enjoy the current christmas events. They still have the old fortnite feel and lots of players as, unsurprisingly, bringing new content to the game brings many players
I've never bought or played STW despite playing Fortnite since Chapter 1 Season 3. I've always been sort of interested in it but never enough to drop 20 dollars on it. If Epic still developed the game mode and pushed it as hard as the Lego, rocket racing, and festival gamemodes. I think I would actually give it a try. As long as they started updating it more. Why would I put time and effort into STW when Epic doesn't. That's my thoughts process at least

Personally I play stw everyday and I don’t get bored I enjoy making new hero builds,gathering recourses, grinding ventures, obtaining rewards and maxing my power level
I think the best way to Save the World is to fully integrate it back into the ecosystem. Fortnite clearly wants variety in their game, and the only other PvE offering currently is Lego Fortnite, which is very different in gameplay and vibe to STW. Maybe this is a controversial take but I'd like to see Save the World move free to play and recieve a pass like the Music and Lego Passes, there are a few things that could be given cosmetics in STW for a pass (Cosmetic Schematics, similar to the schematics in the Starter Packs, Hoverboard Skins).
I think a good idea would be bringing unfinished BR storyline into STW to finish its storyline. For example, bringing the Scientist as dr. Vinderman and continuing the story of both characters.
What epic should do is do an open world but implement the base builder by day zombie slayer by night idea that save the world was founded in but ultimately scrapped. I would play that alllllll day
I think a mission style for building settlements would be fun. The game's all about oushing the storm back, but then all the survivors are in these miserable hovels...
The shelter missions are there for this concept. very plain tho. also the "build the radio tower" missions accomplish finding the survivors part of the lore aspect. Also you get a base of operations in each zone to "Fight the storm" where you build a base to defend against a horde and the structures are saved and you can leave as you please and it will still be there.

i would play save the world again if they made it more like minecraft/elden ring. everything open world, no loading screens and have the freedom to do what you want. you can progress through the lore whenever you want, exploring the world while you upgrade your character. it would be cool if they expanded upon the character classes and made it like elden ring where you could customize how your character fights

Theres alot of hidden potential for the gamemode, but i dont think they will ever re direct focus back to stw despite it still having a fairly medium community.
Save the World needs to be more horror themed, as it was originally supposed to be. Amplify the horror aspect and you will have a game where it returns to it's roots, and feels the way that it is supposed to, and then people will play it.
Since they gave up on continuing beyond twine, they’ve ALWAYS had a lay chance to expand beyond that. Imagine any new enemies & new bosses, maps like just anything new to that extent would just be so great (.) That any stw fan would get back in it, at least just to try it. A STW Battle Pass would only work if you also unlock the Heroes as skins imo. I don't see the point if I don't get to use the heroes I've paid for in other gamemodes.
If they update stw, they should'nt go with the boring and generic BR design but keep the original design. And they should finnaly give us all stw assets in Creative also all searchable props
They should make the Lego, party royale and rocket racing modes separate to the main game and remove them entirely, it makes the game feel too cluttered as well as the thousands of creative maps listed when selecting gamemode. They should revive save the world and bring beck the old gui when loading up the game. Hope we can earn v bucks while playing stw too (I bought it just after the founders back was removed)

I like the idea of RDW getting updates again but you can't demand that the content be added if the mode isn't profitable for Epic and then demand that everyone get v-bucks. I would even say that you should buy heroes with v-bucks. then a battle pass where you get ticks to unlock heroes. So you either have to spend money or buy the battle pass

@pt5728 i mean cross as in actual STW character getting to the BR island as npc, actual husks ln the map (the zombies were cube monsters, not the same thing), STW POIs and weapons (finnaly getting to hold the zappotron in BR), and for STW players some exclusive new missions on the BR island along a dedicated new questline.
All three Festival modes and Rocket Racing combined come nowhere near close in players to STW, despite the lack of new content and being locked behind a paywall.

COD BO6 already has a battle pass for both multiplayer and zombies, so epic could defo take inspiration from them to build that bp for save the world

@ Yeah there are a few more mission types from the beta that got scrapped and still have some unused assets in the files.
Personally I play stw everyday and I don’t get bored I enjoy making new hero builds,gathering recourses, grinding ventures, obtaining rewards and maxing my power level
I think the best way to Save the World is to fully integrate it back into the ecosystem. Fortnite clearly wants variety in their game, and the only other PvE offering currently is Lego Fortnite, which is very different in gameplay and vibe to STW. Maybe this is a controversial take but I'd like to see Save the World move free to play and recieve a pass like the Music and Lego Passes, there are a few things that could be given cosmetics in STW for a pass (Cosmetic Schematics, similar to the schematics in the Starter Packs, Hoverboard Skins).
I think a good idea would be bringing unfinished BR storyline into STW to finish its storyline. For example, bringing the Scientist as dr. Vinderman and continuing the story of both characters.
What epic should do is do an open world but implement the base builder by day zombie slayer by night idea that save the world was founded in but ultimately scrapped. I would play that alllllll day
I think a mission style for building settlements would be fun. The game's all about oushing the storm back, but then all the survivors are in these miserable hovels...
The shelter missions are there for this concept. very plain tho. also the "build the radio tower" missions accomplish finding the survivors part of the lore aspect.
Also you get a base of operations in each zone to "Fight the storm" where you build a base to defend against a horde and the structures are saved and you can leave as you please and it will still be there.

You've got helping people live in their crappy hovels, building radio towers that house zero people, and your massive storm shields that house zero people too

I love STW we just got a whole new venture zone last year, so glad this mode is getting more daily players, then epics new metaverse modes
they NEED to give save the world a massive update because stw is the only thing i play😭
What if new husks? What if new mist monsters? I’m so tired of fighting the same thing all the time. Even hunt the Titan is just a smasher.
i would play save the world again if they made it more like minecraft/elden ring. everything open world, no loading screens and have the freedom to do what you want. you can progress through the lore whenever you want, exploring the world while you upgrade your character. it would be cool if they expanded upon the character classes and made it like elden ring where you could customize how your character fights
Dude i completely agree with you, this game mode is my upmost favorite game that I play it more than BR. If they are able to make the game open world it would go so hard and be so much bettet!!!
Investing a little bit in save the world for example actually finishing the storyline and making it free would actually fix it up
Theres alot of hidden potential for the gamemode, but i dont think they will ever re direct focus back to stw despite it still having a fairly medium community.
Save the World needs to be more horror themed, as it was originally supposed to be. Amplify the horror aspect and you will have a game where it returns to it's roots, and feels the way that it is supposed to, and then people will play it.
Yesterday stw was catching up on player count against lego it’s crazy what a paid mode can do vs a free mode
The only way STW could be updated I feel is if they did a complete overhaul of the game. Starting from scratch
Stw packs were never exclusive btw. People (most that dont play stw) just got mad when metal team leader came back so they stopped.
The vbucks are exclusively for founders, I think it would be cool if you could randomly find xray tickets while looting
Really all they have to do is modernize and polish a lot of the gameplay and/or assets, and complete the story.
Since they gave up on continuing beyond twine, they’ve ALWAYS had a lay chance to expand beyond that. Imagine any new enemies & new bosses, maps like just anything new to that extent would just be so great (.) That any stw fan would get back in it, at least just to try it. Would be sick if they added the ability to buy llamas again.😅😅🙏🏻
If you were an epic employee and did these things i think the game would be 10x better then it is now
A STW Battle Pass would only work if you also unlock the Heroes as skins imo. I don't see the point if I don't get to use the heroes I've paid for in other gamemodes.
If they update stw, they should'nt go with the boring and generic BR design but keep the original design. And they should finnaly give us all stw assets in Creative also all searchable props
They should make the Lego, party royale and rocket racing modes separate to the main game and remove them entirely, it makes the game feel too cluttered as well as the thousands of creative maps listed when selecting gamemode.
They should revive save the world and bring beck the old gui when loading up the game.
Hope we can earn v bucks while playing stw too (I bought it just after the founders back was removed)

Im sure COD did the bringing back the teammates back first also Fortnite took the integration and reveal the enemy was definitely from COD. It will be a christmas miracle if they go back to STW
I like the idea of RDW getting updates again but you can't demand that the content be added if the mode isn't profitable for Epic and then demand that everyone get v-bucks. I would even say that you should buy heroes with v-bucks. then a battle pass where you get ticks to unlock heroes. So you either have to spend money or buy the battle pass
They should make it scary while still being action packed

Plus you do realise the V-buck dailys are still there, But its for the people who had the founders packs. had to give some form of exclusivity
I really want STW to be a big hit, I love the story, the playstyle, everything, I spent more time in STW than in any other modes, really hope Epic can revive STW!

That theoretical open world survival stw mode would be my new favorite video game, that is such a great idea!
It would be cool if we finnaly had a season that crosses both modes, i still don't know why they haven't thought about it.
@@tabdeugo depends what you mean by a cross. Because in I think season 7 or 8 of chapter 1 they basically did that with the zombies. (A lot of people disliked em but I loved em)
@pt5728 i mean cross as in actual STW character getting to the BR island as npc, actual husks ln the map (the zombies were cube monsters, not the same thing), STW POIs and weapons (finnaly getting to hold the zappotron in BR), and for STW players some exclusive new missions on the BR island along a dedicated new questline.

All three Festival modes and Rocket Racing combined come nowhere near close in players to STW, despite the lack of new content and being locked behind a paywall.

stw already has daily quests that give ussually 80-130 vbucks and xp from stw counts towards the normal battlepass
I've been saying it for a bit, with the metaverse push they 100% should/can put more effort into STW and I really wish they would.

Its weird that they'll collab with anyone, make game modes most people dont like, but they wont give save the world that same attention

today i saw the player count for stw and it went from a peak of 20k players to 30k. i havent seen that many players in a long while
also increase homebase storage and amount of mats you can carry at once 👍
There is no "stealing"" in game modes simply bcs no one owns the mechanic, im OG STW player and i still love to play the game even more then the BR.
save the world cant be a whole game u can js buy in the store cuz its literally a mode in fortnite, i mean it got so many good potentials to be a goated game but epic is js too lazy and doesnt want a game to beat fortnite
