I ordered everything for my e61. Talk about expensive! The only reason why I decided to do it is because I want to go dual exhaust in the future. My e61 is a keeper!
Looks great! A couple of years ago I was rear ended and got a new bumper on the CTS wagon. Now I have light scratches on both sides, one is my fault the other my ex-wife. Perhaps someday I will get some paint work done. Priority right now is removing and replacing torn driver seat cover. I have used driver and passenger leather just need to get off my ass and DO IT. Keep up the good work.
Dang, I have an E91 touring and I'm planning on installing an M sport rear bumper and an M3 front bumper on it from this same company. Looks great on your 5 series! I was looking at an E61 535i before deciding on the 3 series.
How did you make the adjustments? Installed mine and have the same piping out issue by the tail light. Also are the rear wheel arches need to be changed to m sport like the front? On the website real oem it shows regular and m sport are same part. Not the bumper holes don’t line up with the regular wheel liner. One hole is off. Can you confirm please. Thank you
Nice wagon,congrats... The rear sensors are diferent from one bumper to another?I'm doing the same upgrade already have the bumper and difuser,i try to swap the sensors and they Just go half way,are the m sensors bigger? Nice work great video...
Thank you for your comment! PDC sensors are different on M style bumpers. They are way bigger than on regular non M style. This is the part number 66206989102 I used. Also you would need a plug for these, I used couple of these: www.ebay.com/itm/312808696652 they worked ok, just had to figure out the wiring.
Fitment is ok. I had to modify carriers in the taillights area to get better fitment, but it’s not a big deal. Durability is good so far. I know several 5series.net owners got these a few years ago and I haven’t seen any complaints. I would try to get a real OEM E61 bumper but it’s almost impossible to find it.
@@EliteBimmers Dyu know if perhaps if I can diy the se rear bumper brackets and make the bottom bit slightly longer that could perhaps work instead of me purchasing the msport rear brackets?
I think it’s possible, I didn’t consider that because I had one, maybe trimming the old one could work? Just guessing… I remember the M sport one is an oddly shaped part, been a couple of years since I have done it.
I watched the first 40 seconds a few times and can't tell WHO the painter is. I see there's a prepainted option on the website but I wanted to make sure that's who did it vs someone local here in WA.
He is located in Longview, WA. He charged me around $300 for paint and PDC installation. I can share his number via private message, don’t want to display someone’s number on the internet.

Hello, I honestly don’t know about e60. What I learned is that M-style package bumpers are a little bit narrower than regular ones. I guess that they are using different mounting parts for both sedans and wagons.
My wheels are Vossen CVT, 19” current tires are Michelin Pilot Sport 4s, 225/35/19 front, and 255/30/19 rear. Also, I have wheel spacers, but remember their sizes off my head.

What did you end up doing with the cover for the air compressor on the passenger side?
Did you trim it or get an M cover ?
Hello, I am about to order an M style one. At this moment I don’t use this car.
Looks great!!!!
Thank you!
hi there what's the part number for the centre piece that bolts to the spare wheel well please ?
where did you get the side skirts also from same seller 'Umnitza'?
Side skirts are from original M5 parts, from E60 M5.
Looking very good, what wheel are those?
These are Vossen cvt 19".
EliteBimmers thank you
Is this bumper from umbitza?
What size rims are you wearing and are your suspension stocked?
My car is on ISC Coilovers. The rear pneumatic suspension was deleted. The wheels sizes are 225/35/19 front and 255/30/19 rear.
how do you like this bumpers fitment and durability??
Fitment is ok. I had to modify carriers in the taillights area to get better fitment, but it’s not a big deal.
Durability is good so far. I know several 5series.net owners got these a few years ago and I haven’t seen any complaints.
I would try to get a real OEM E61 bumper but it’s almost impossible to find it.
Is the guide battery cover necessary for e60 se conversion to msport bumper conversion??
Yes, it is a good thing to have it. It helps securing the bumper. The one Umnitza sells already comes with one.
