Have they done that yet? They could've done that instead of paying Tua. They didn't. Holland isn't dependent on everyones help around him. Thats Tua. Everyone wants to emulate other teams. Well those teams pay the players before the qb. We allowed an injury prone inconsistent qb hold us and force our hands. Thats who you shouldve let go foe an O-line. You let him go, now you need O-line and safeties. Does that make sense? Yea let's make more holes on the team.

I agree with the injury avoidance going into a contract year and I don't blame him, really. If we don't tag him, he will assuredly go somewhere else for more money and be a top 5ish safety.

Why the same mistakes are made over and over again year after year that these professional coaches and organization managers have made and continue to make is really mind boggling. So many areas to correct but let's just stick to today. Here we are with a QB we just invested 212 million dollars that is limited in his performance due to concussion issues that of course was known to everyone yet they not only extended him and strapped the team financially but had no backup QB and still don't. Every QB in any of the championship games we've watched is mobile, gets hit, and get up to play. Our guy gets hit and shows up to future games on the sidelines unable to play in sunglasses for a night game like he's going to a photo shoot. Is this organization's reputation for being "soft" real? You bet it is.

This is why we can't compete with other teams. You paid Tua early, now you want to not pay him? Which means you'll get nothing for him and he'll walk. He was a 2nd rnd pick. You have to pay him or let him walk and get nothing 🤦🏾. He's s great player. Very versatile. Any issues he had are scheme based. So its not on him. He also played hurt.
His first 2 seasons he looked like a good pick. But between his injuries piling up and McDaniel’s country club environment being a soft influence on Holland, he’s not the same player. Watch the Bills sign him and see him thrive on a well coached team.

With the tag he’d be playing salty that he didn’t get a deal and scared of injury like he did this season. It was blatantly obvious he was making business decisions this year. Arm tackling and avoiding contact so he didn’t get injured. Definitely wasn’t like that his first two years
If I know Chris Grier he'll let him go and draft someone who's injured and hasn't played in two years in the draft
