Every mock draft I do has Malaki Starks staring me in the face at 13. I take him and then go after the Oline with the next couple picks. Then I get a backup QB
@@The_Zilli haha yeah but waddle has been missing a lot of games lately due to injury. Small players seem to miss games consistently in the NFL. Also Tyreek Hill is dropping a lot of passes probably because the cops roughed him up and his hurt wrist is not allowing him to catch balls. But you are probably right but in the first round we have to get best player available hopefully that will be a lineman but if a player drops into our laps we have to get him especially if Banks is already gone but we may still get the guard .

I'm done w high picks on safeties. Between Fitzpatrick and Holland it's two players who were high draft picks who are no longer here because they're not a focal point premium position. Unless you luck into Ed Reed or Troy polamalu rarely is a safety a high value. Premium picks are QB, wr, ot, edge, cb
O-line and D-line. Don't just jump at the first one. The kid from Texas is not the best. You can get better guys a little later between 2nd and 3rd. They need to trade back to like 20 25. Try and get another 2,3rd pick. Get edge,Dt,Guard,Tackle. Doesn't matter the order. Also you have to be careful. If Jeanty,Or Ebuka falls to you, you may have to jump on them. Not at 13. But if you trade back and they are still there, you may have to make that move. I always value need more then talent, but unless it's to good to pass up. Thats like if Ward fell to 13; they better get him! Other then that I wouldn't touch a qb at all. There's been too many excuses made for Tua. Tbh he had all star lines throughout college and still was hurt every year. He gets hurt from holding the ball, and trying to do above what his ability allows him to do. Thats another story. I hope they mainly get Lineman. I'm tired of the excuseso. The lineman has nothing to do with him panicking against good teams or his inconsistent play. He recieves all the credit in wins. None of the blame in a loss. This is a put up or shutup year for him, the coach and GM.
Malaki Starks at #13. Take an IOL in the 2nd round. Maybe Jaxson Dart or Milroe in the later rounds. Place your bid for Trey Smith in free agency. Get one of them Penn State athletes in later rounds
As much as we need O-line, I like Malaki Starks too. He’s gonna help our aging DBs a lot and hopefully he learns from Ramsey well. That said, if Jalon Walker falls to us, he HAS to be the pick. Brooks was good for us but we need another good LB to guard these tight ends that massacre us in the air. Based on how Campbell has turned out in Detroit, I’m down for drafting the early LB when we know he’s cracked. I’d much rather get o-line in free agency and late round picks with potential rather than spend even more round 1 capital when we’ve done that twice with little return so far, and a third just last year.
I would trade down and collect extra picks but my first rd pick is offensive guard, second rd trade down pick up extra pick but I would like to pick in the middle or back end of the second round and pick another offensive line man then the third rd i would start looking for a backup quarterback and then defense position for the remainder of the draft.
Instead of drafting by best player available, the Dolphins may draft the position that would cost the most to fill with the best talent that is available at the slot that they're drafting. We all know how valuable it is to draft a franchise QB and keep him on the rookie contract and this is partly why running backs arent taken in the first round any longer. Safeties with the exception of LB are the cheapest position on a defensive side of the ball to fill - 22m is *top^ safety contract out there, LBs are about 20m. CBs/DBs 24m, DEs are 32m, DLs are 32m. So if you're looking for bang for the buck, Safety and LB are the two you want to draft the least with a top draft pick while you'll want to try to grab DEs/DLs or CBs/DBs instead for the value. Or go on the offensive side of the ball instead with OL (or another high cost position like WR). Just to be clear, the figures I used were the highest salary for that position, not the average, so that means if the top safety salary was 22m, then the average prob be closer to 15 or so.
Wouldn’t be mad if they pick Starks I just think that if Jeanty is there it would be hard to pass on him. I just don’t see the Cowboys passing on Jeanty either.
O LINE, PERIOD....... I agree though if the safety is there from GA you get him at #13 if the O line prospect you want is not there and you can get one in the 2nd round on.
I change my mind idk hard to say but I do like Starks too and we have a good Tight end if we keep him. Do hope Holland stays as well as others . Wish wasn't Grier making these decisions tell u that much. Rather the players do a poll and make a pick lol
Grant or Warren for me course wish get one then top off lineman if slipped to us. We all know OFF line is top priority. Need to get one Start ler in draft and maybe a 2nd that could maybe start then we pick up one big FA at Off line be it tackle or guard either way. That tightbend is special tho and we see how Kelce alone does so much for KC with a fairly weak but somehow they get by with Mahomes just cause he's such a special Qb. Still upset we didn't draft OL or top Def player and got Hurts like I hoped years ago. I didn't want Tua that early something told me Hurts even on Madden lol. Is what it is now and hope chubbs redoes his contract since he got paid free owes us and knows it. So can have all our edge players. Still need a Dl of course and Safety. Also Tua and even Hill should redo there contract if there team players
This would be a nightmare scenario because we're left with bad options on o line. And then w lack of options between draft and fa it's back to the same scenario where you can improve the line and our offense will be garbage
Wouldn’t be apposed to drafting Jeanty if he falls that low and transitioning into a 2 back offense with Jeanty being the power back and Achane being the pass catching back (which he has already started to do), I don’t think we need to draft a lineman
@ LOL these idiots go after the big names at the big programs well I can do that with my eyes closed. Go down an pick someone less known in the 1st or 2nd round would impress me 🤣 peace! Got a name for you Kyle Kennard.
Stephen Ross should sell the Miami Dolphins. They’ll never amount to anything no matter who is on that team Miami Dolphins are trash now and always will be from now on and this is coming from a 47 year fan of the Miami Dolphins. You guys ruined the name you ruined the logo. Congratulations job well done.
Enough is enough from Grier idgaf about any other positions besides o line we need o line protect TUA at all cost cause god damn Grier never does the O line right
Tyler Warren is THE ONLY CHOICE FOR THE MIAMI DOLPHINS IN THE FIRST ROUND. If you read this, remember it by mid season....either on or NOT on the Dolphins
It depends on who is picking right after Miami or a few behind and the player is still available and Grier will take the payment and pass on the player, think about it he is getting paid by undisclosed teams to make bad decisions, he probably made more bad decisions than good ones. All hypothetical mind you
I still think we need to address the Oline first. We have one loose hair in a biscuit away from losing tua due to another concussion. The other positions can easily be addressed down the line
The Dolphins are gonna choke against the physical teams. They also choke in crucial games. That is just a proven fact unfortunately. Unless proven otherwise on the field that's who they are. Tua in particular has been choking against physical teams and in crucial games since he joined the team . So there's no evidence that will change in the coming seasons.

Starks. The team needs two safeties and two guards above all. That's one of your four biggest needs solved.
Definitely Malaki Starks 💯🐬
The D- Line should be addressed!
As often as I say we need massive o-line help, the answer is Starks. He's too much of an asset and a must add piece for our defense

Starts looks like a winner!

Best player available doesn't matter what position
@@MarkFowler-tu2cn THIS.... Even if a SOLID WR is available at one of those picks you get him (I know not the biggest need).
@@BillCagney I've been mocking Burden in lot of my mocks.
so by that logic, we'll draft a Punt Returner.

Would you draft Malaki Starks with the 13th overall pick? Type ‘Y’ for Yes or ‘N’ for No
Definitely 💯🔥🐬
Y
Absolutely
Nope
I’m trading back. Chris Grier will select a player not on anyone’s draft board.
Probably.... One that is NOT a need on top of that which would probably be a RB lol.
. . . and of course whoever it is will be an injured goofball
Right, someone who had a great 2021 season but has been injured since....

This guy is really versatile though, he wouldn't just be a traditional safety.. swiss army knife
Our offensive line is by far the biggest need first 3 picks should be oline
QB is a bigger need IMO

Starks has size at 6'2"/219 pounds and hss run an official 10.5-'100 meters. Can run with the fastest receivers and size to cover the biggest TEs

Safety
Yes
I pick Warren
Warren is special too.
Don't be shy, send this video to all your friends!
I know we need OL help badly . But I want Tyler Warren desperately.. that kid is a stud . I want That TE brotha
Go after TE Tyler Warren. What a weapon for our pass off. 👏👏👏
I definitely would draft Malachi Starks, and then go double time lineman right after or make something happen afterwards
Malaki Starks at #13. Take an IOL in the 2nd round. Maybe Jaxson Dart or Milroe in the later rounds. Place your bid for Trey Smith in free agency. Get one of them Penn State athletes in later rounds
Please Pick Up Starks He Will Play An Perfect Role In SS. And Maybe Pick Up A Quarterback In The 3rd Round.
Solid pick
We’ll get a new owner in the 7th rd.
As much as we need O-line, I like Malaki Starks too. He’s gonna help our aging DBs a lot and hopefully he learns from Ramsey well. That said, if Jalon Walker falls to us, he HAS to be the pick. The only way we go Stark is if Grier expect to address the Oline during free agency. We can't expect a second down oline Guard to do much.
Don't sleep on Campbell or Banks. I like Starks, but I think the Phins will get a tackle with guard flexibility.

As long as we get ward witch i know we're not gonna do or dart. For dual qb. I'm good with anything after that
We need OLINE OLINE OLINE!!!!!
Malaki Starks is a winner, he would be a day one starter. Grier will never select a guard in the first round.
Y, Sarks is a beast, Campbell would be nice as well.

As a Michigan and Dolphins fan I'd love to get Grant
I would definitely pick Starks.
Check out another safety: Nick Emmanwori. Hits like a truck, runs well and super smart
😮50/50 dolphins win 9-10 games 2025😮Really doesn't matter😮
That sounds about right.....
if he is at 13 MS Yes !!!!
Keep in mind lets say Starks has an amazing combine and pro day he could possibly shoot up to the top 10. You never know
The safety from south carolina he is a big safety and is fantastic in te coverage which te killed us as of late
I'd rather have an offensive lineman.
Y!!
Best player available round 1 round 2 ot or og round 3 qb 4 and og or ot round 5 lb
Is Malaki Starks the Jalen Ramsey of DBs this draft
Mel Kip can’t pick his way out of a paper bag 🤣!
Grier can’t pick his way out of a paper bag 🤣
@ LOL these idiots go after the big names at the big programs well I can do that with my eyes closed. Go down an pick someone less known in the 1st or 2nd round would impress me 🤣 peace! Got a name for you Kyle Kennard.
No Fix the OLine with the first & 2nd picks
Agreed, BOTH HUGE NEEDS.
I think the dolphins have to draft Tyler Booker og unless he is already gone.
Will cambell yes. Emory would be next.
Oline nothing else
Ross should hire Kiper to do the Dolphin draft.
Ashton Jentry... He can Break Tackles in the Cold.
I'd go with Hampton from UNC.
You run that card up and take Jeanty.
I would trade my 1st rounder for two or three 2nd rounders and draft all of my OL in round 2
Enough is enough from Grier idgaf about any other positions besides o line we need o line protect TUA at all cost cause god damn Grier never does the O line right
THIS!!!!!!!!!!
Holland was a player l liked but his production was not up to snuff this past season.
I would pick jentrey if available because you don't pass on generational Tallent
Miami will draft Jalen rivers from Miami had played both tackle and guard
Mel Kip´s predictions are often terrible.
Grier should never have traded Tunsil. He cant replace him with 10 draft picks.
A safety at 13 is to expensive!!!
O line first round.. Anything else is a bad move!!
No way Miami gets s safety rnd 1. I can see grant. But Its too many lineman to pass up. Unless Jeanty or like Ebuka falls; you go lineman.
Miami needs an owner who understands that he needs a new GM.
Dude, you trade back! We need a lot more needs and we can find other safeties
Tyler Warren is THE ONLY CHOICE FOR THE MIAMI DOLPHINS IN THE FIRST ROUND.
If you read this, remember it by mid season....either on or NOT on the Dolphins
We need reliable talent!
Dolphins 🐬 should trade down (first round#13 pick) to add more draft capital.
Grier will draft a running back. Something we don't need. Then he will probably draft no Offensive linemen, and trade off the rest of the phins picks.
It depends on who is picking right after Miami or a few behind and the player is still available and Grier will take the payment and pass on the player, think about it he is getting paid by undisclosed teams to make bad decisions, he probably made more bad decisions than good ones. All hypothetical mind you
Pick qb
Grier drafts terrible
Trade up for Cam Ward
Yea trade tua!😂
Zero chance he falls
I definitely think we should sign Tyler Huntley back again
Let's get some real compensation, sign Tim Boyle and Tyler huntley
I still think we need to address the Oline first. We have one loose hair in a biscuit away from losing tua due to another concussion. The other positions can easily be addressed down the line
You don't have the fat boys up front..... You lose... O line.D line. Then build around that.
If they bring poyer back I don’t know if I’ll watch a defensive possession lol just gonna change the channel every time
Facts bro Poyer is extremely ass, there’s a reason they kept Hyde and not poyer
The Dolphins are gonna choke against the physical teams. They also choke in crucial games. That is just a proven fact unfortunately. Unless proven otherwise on the field that's who they are. Tua in particular has been choking against physical teams and in crucial games since he joined the team . So there's no evidence that will change in the coming seasons.
Starks is such a boring pick. Miami probably wount pick this high again next year. Trade up get Carter, Graham, Campbell, banks, Johnson.
Ashton jentny is the most overrated running back I’ve seen the past five years of the Dolphins drafted him we’re not a serious franchise
Ur top 5 players for Miami dolphin needs have no O lineman but a running back? Find a new job
He's terrible in coverage
Never going anywhere with tua!!
He is unreliable
I dont want any of those safeties coming back...none...we need a overhaul and one dl and two starting guards
What about a QB!!!
This channel is a joke
Go get Jalen Milroe. The quarterback position is the elephant in the room..
Please no more Alabama qb's
Get another QB to get killed behind no LINE... And I agree no more Alabama QBs.
