That's actually a pretty neat detail that Hobbs's day is shown with primarily orange lighting and Shaw's is shown with primarily blue lighting, but then as soon as they go spy mode the colors flip.

Shaw is more brains than brawn and relies more on being calmer and sophisticated, which is why he fries the egg and makes a fancy omelet Hobbs however is mostly brawn but also brains, so he does push ups and extreme things like drinking the eggs as they are an eating the coffee grounds for health reasons so that he can be his very best. Which is why Shaw's background is dark to give a more calm style meanwhile Hobbs has the sunlight reflecting for a wild exciting feel

I love the dynamic and comparison of the two main characters. Hobbs life is very bright and colourful and Shaws life is dark and gloomy, such great detail. Love this movie

I love the dynamic and comparison of the two main characters. Hobbs life is very bright and colourful and Shaws life is dark and gloomy, such great detail. Love this movie
I mean that is literally just what the weather is like in both places. Plus when Shaw gets to his club it becomes bright and colourful while when Hobbs gets to his club it becomes dark and gloomy.
