The point was that he had a background that we didn't know about before he was who he was in the second film and is actually really smart.
@@ephraimsb2277 Then he wouldn't have been just racing cars. That shift made zero sense. Heck when they made the bridge go down in the race he could have just hacked it instead of sending people to flip the switch. There is no explanation given, he is smart just because he needs to be.

Leaving behind a legacy is great but if you can't prove to your future generations that the legacy is lucrative by leaving behind money for them then how do you expect them to wanna continue, uphold and respect the legacy that you created? Its not just about you being rich and dying happy. Its about your immediate and future family being able to do the same thing.
