Walking in Pego, Spain, January 2024

Pego is this cute little town in Alicante region, Spain. It's like 92 km north of Alicante city. The place sits in the Valencian Community, you know, where you find those awesome beaches and cool cities.
The weather is classic Mediterranean - summers are hot, and winters are pretty mild. Back in the day, Pego was all about farming, especially citrus fruits, but now, it's getting a lot of tourists soaking up the sun.
One cool thing about Pego is its cathedral. It's not super famous like some others, but it's got its charm. And if you're into history or architecture, it's definitely worth a visit. Plus, the local food here is fantastic - think fresh seafood, veggies, and maybe some tasty rice dishes.
