Car phones were big and wealthy people walked around with big bulky phones. I grew up in the 80s, and it was rare to see a cell phone, hardly any. Certainly not like today. Pagers were big in the 90s and we would have to go to a phone booth to make a call if we weren't home or near a phone line. Even so, there is absolutely no need to reply "are you fucking kidding me" on a completely innocent comment. You obviously weren't alive then, but I was. Can anyone explain this channel to me? I mean I know Nelson and his life etc but did he edit these together himself or did he just shoot tons of tape and then someone has edited them all and put them online after his death?

I found this channel because I was curious what recently released murderer, Michael Alig was doing. He was one of Nelson's club kid friends, seen in a few of his vids. McCauly Culkin and Seth Green played Michael Alig & James St. James in the movie Party Monster. After discovering Nelson's vids, in my eyes, he is a bigger star than all of his famous & infamous friends put together.

Nelson was a videographer and did a lot of the editing (including adding music) himself.

In the videos with Nelson's aquintances, they look a lot less uncomfortable because they were probably used to him having the camera with him. That's my guess

Looks like Paris Opera Ballet was on the Marque. In those days Baryshnikov was a star and Nureyev was still Alive. Wonder if Nelson was a fan of New York City Ballet or American Ballet Theatre? They were both right there at Lincoln Center ABT at the Met and NYCB at NY State Theatre. But in those days Joffrey Ballet was at the City Center. Wish I could ask him...
