- Luther Dickinson (North Mississippi All Stars, Black Crowes) sits down and discusses how he has stayed busy during the pandemic, home recording, hanging out at the local music shop, and some of his gear.
Ah, so good. Luther is such a great human being. Met him once, changed my life forever, had the chance to say to him: "such good music must come from a good heart." It was back in 2014...God Bless you Luths. Great interview, keep it up guys!
What a great video.
Youre a bad ass luther!!! Love, your pal Little Tommy
Was going to ask Uncle Larry's thoughts on Luther and if he'd crossed paths with him...no need now.
His two records with the Black Crowes are brilliant.
Good for you Luther. No as the crow flies without Gorman. The Robinson’s need the actual band back together. Not just a family reunion. Luther was the only guy they got to ever fill Marc Ford’s talented shoes. Two different great eras with Ford & Luther.
Luther with Crowes was awesome!
Great interview
Great!
He played guitar on the same stage as Shawn Lane, so respect for that alone.
Luther is world class and such a nice guy. Unfortunately, the interviewers seem terribly unprepared. Thank god for Luther being so chill. Met him in Boston once - such a nice guy!
How do you know someone for almost 20 years and not know they played in an awesome band like TBC band for 4 years? Way to prepare guys! You guys interviewing remind me of the seinfeld episode when Kramer and Newman dug out the old Merv Griffin set and made like they were edgy ala Springer so they could get ratings...
I knew Luther from early 2000s. We didn’t cross paths again til last year. I knew he was in TBCs but I didn’t know how long. My research is just from hanging with him. And that’s the most he has ever talked about TBCs to me. Great Seinfeld reference btw.
@@worldmusicnashvillepodcast8280 hahaha! pretty cool story though
Ryan Seacrest hasnt anything to say really, but wants to be seen for sure.
dang Ryan Seacrest lost a lot of weight and looks like he smoked a lot before shooting this interview!
Oh god. This is a terrible interview. These guys knew nothing of Luther’s career.
