They only wanted the loved ones for most of the pairs. People like Ciera, Vytas, Hayden and Brad had really interesting backgrounds, and people like John and Marisa had big personalities. I think they saw how different Caleb and Colton were and wanted it on tv. The only returnees I think CBS would’ve wanted over their loved ones are Tina, Tyson, and Rupert.

Tyson stood no chance in a final 3 with Ciera, specially after she went to rocks for Hayden and Katie. As for Wentworth, I thought this was clear enough: she walks into that tribal with 4 votes locked in (ciera, abi, kimmi, keith) and only needs 2 more to win the game. Stephen already said that Kelley would’ve won, so Jeremy stood no chance. This is why her elimination was so heartbreaking and sealed her legacy as a robbed legend who took her second chance to the next level.

No, that's just what it appeared to be on TV. In a post-game interview, Ciera said that she and her mom talked about her vote prior to tribal so Laura saw this coming. Ciera and her mom were both perceived as threats so Ciera, in good faith, decided to align with the majority, whichever way they were voting. Had they targeted Ciera, Laura M. would have voted for her daughter as that was the deal between the two of them.
Aras is honestly my favorite survivor winner ever. Did he like come not to play this time or something ? He like barely did anything this time around. Also bummed he, Tina, Richard, Brian and Jenna M won’t be on the winners season.
gervase was really annoying this season, monica didn't make any moves, marissa was salty, candice didn't even get to play, and colton was colton. i wish hayden and ciera wouldve gotten further
