ALL MY LOVE brings me back to Coldplay's earlier songs
It feels like the story from The Scientist had a happy ending 🥰

I feel like Moon Music was the album they wanted to realise for over a decade now. It feels like what they tried to achieve to create since Melo Xyloto, but there was always something missing. I really like it personally, will be coming back to it pretty often
You can feel anything you want but facts are you aren't in the band and they don't know you exist. So the chances of you knowing that Coldplay wanted to make this album for the last 10 years remains you just guessing and is completely baseless. Basically you're talking absolute shite. This album is also shite so you're in good company
Super fair review. Especially on we pray
So many good songs! I agree I don’t care for We Pray. I did really enjoy MOTS though 😅. I think this is a perfect sister album for it though.
I like Jupiter a lot ❤
It's a good one. It's the best one on the album.
We pray really is a good song but it truly does not fit. The production is amazing and to the level of the other songs but it feels like it would have fit more in everyday life
I feel similar! While I can see how nicely feelslike actually fits in and actually works well after the title track, We Pray somehow sticks out like a sore thumb 😬 I completely reversed my opinion about both songs now.
Lyrics are weak ... only about loving eachother and being happy all the time .. dancy album but it is not coldplay
Lovely, fair review. I agree with a lot of what was said. I’d actually say this is Ghost Stories, Everyday Life, and MOTS combined!
Good album
I completely agree about We Pray. It totally doesn’t fit. It’s also a very flat recording, where as at Glasto it had more energy.
Aeterna is the best song on the album. I've changed my mind. It's got that pop really pop pop sounding song.
@@MatePutChu AETERNA is an absolute banger, minus the last minute. Other than that , it’s the only good song on the album.
It's a club song... not a coldplay song. I'm not a fake or new fan or a hater. I have the x&y tattoo on my forearm. I just wish it were more like IAAM or even Jupiter
Whaat
They're a rock band. I love Coldplay. I hate that I'm disappointed 😢
I've changed my mind. This song's rubbish.
I will give it a listen on RUclips album I luv Coldplay put there last album wasn't to my taste sorry but I'm being honest cheers 🥂🍷🥂 for the review
Considering this is a sequal to MOTS, it makes me severely curious to what the final albums are gonna be like.
I feel like this album misses the energy coldplay often has. There no songs such as higher power/ any other song
It can’t be worse than Everyday Life
I bought the autographed special edition and will be listening on vinyl player, is it really that terrible ?
No, it's not. It's miles better than MOTS 1. Way more cohesive and organic in parts.
Awesome!! Very excited since MOTS was such a disappointment for me
@@SunsetLights keep your expectations low for this one.
@@SunsetLights Except coloratura was my gem
It's really good in my opinion. I think that you'll like Moon Music, iAAM, 🌈 and One World
the last three or four albums are so freaking short in length. That feels kinda lazy to me as a lifelong coldplay fan. I still check them out because they are great but at this point there is no more coldplay. Its just chris martin making pop music he loves in the studio. Thats still better than 99 percent of the weak music industry. I think it is pretty weak but maybe it is at least better than Spheres. Also , We Pray could have been pretty solid without those guest appearances. I know Chris is spreading the love but as a song, i skip it once the guests come on. Good review, it was on point.
What do you mean by Music of the Spheres 1? Is there a 2?
Yup, moon music is technically "MOTS2"
In my opinion, this is their weakest record. I still really love plenty of it, but it really doesn't expand Coldplay's discography, it's more like a nice addition as an album.
I agree with this, kind of like a b sides album.
it's a great album but Aeterna is fantastic.
Vocals were hard to understand on alien hits/radio. At first I thought it was a bad recording but it appears intentional.
Also I agree I hoped a wave was on it.....that song is awesome!
It doesnt go into my head why they put this stupid lalala orange song as hidden track into one world. WHY?! For me it kills ONE WORLD and brings down my whole rating of the album those stupid lalalas whats up with this?!. A Wave would have ended this album so great. i dont get it. WHY CHRIS?! Its not an absolutely terrible album but the Closer is very weak compared to Coloratura which was chefs kiss imo.
@@thd-computer1780 this album is utter shite. Chris Martin continues to write immature, generic, childish lyrics with only one message. Love and acceptance. It’s getting old now. All that “lalalalala” nonsense is bullshit and cringe inducing. People were literally laughing at the music during an early screening I went to at regal cinemas. Uncreative, copy and paste album to say the least. I mean AETERNA is a pretty sick song and they had to ruin it with random African chanting at the end of the song. Chris Martin is so focused on inclusivity that he forgot to produce good music, for the 2nd album in a row. 2/10 album.
Chill bro😂
Bro chill. Just look like this way; Chris must had have known that the fans are not fond about the lalalas in FLIFIL, We Pray, and All My Love, so we think that the lalalas at the end of One World is Chris trolling us.
By far the worst album they have ever made. Never seen a band go from such greatness with deep lyrics and musical talent to shallow and simple words and all dancd club pop. Their music used to have meaning now its all about rainbows and agendas. Only song i thought was good was all my love. Somewhat a glimps of what got them here. Had they started with this type of music nobody would know them. Thats not debatable.
Totally debatable because it’s actually amazing album it’s so ambient and space like which is its intention
Worse than Music of the Spheres for sure. This is on the level of the 2019 album for me
This is their worst album by far.
Everyday Life is amazing and much better than everything since MX
Fantano would LOVE to hear this from you mattia

This album has 5 good songs on it. The first 5. The rest are rubbish! Jupiter is the best song ever recorded! Ever made!
@@MatePutChu JUPiTER? The song about a queer girl coming out of the closet? The song that sounds like it was written by a kindergarten teacher? That song is the best song ever made? I respect your opinion but cmon now lmao
Album was terrible. When they decided to add almost a full minute of African chanting to the end of AETERNA, which is a Eurodisco song, I lost all hope in Coldplay’s ability to do anything right anymore. Also, Chris Martin is writing lyrics for 12 year olds now and when he can’t think of anything else to write, he resorts to “lalalalalala”. The song “🌈” is just some demos slapped together to create a 6 minute song. So lazy and annoying. 2/10 for me.
Yeah Rainbow and the End of ONE WORLD is just pure trash. It pains me. This is comming from the same Man that wrote songs like Amstersam, The Scientist, Square One etc.
Cry louder
@@OfficialPikachuLover you’ll be crying after their next album. It’s going to be a music of the spheres musical with the stupid Sesame Street dolls.
@@thd-computer1780 Chris Martin is a sell out. Nobody is really talking about it but we all know what agenda they’re pushing with this album. I mean for crying out loud look at the album cover.
@BryceSuid They have up and downs, they're not gods, not everyone can like what they do currently, and I respect that. I've heard some rumors about the "next album" and honestly. All I want right now is some good b-side, they're final 12th album and to see them life at least once. I could complain about controversy and bad music, what is in album or not, if it sounds shitty or not, but I don't feel like it. Take the good bits and leave the rest knowing, it wasn't made for me.
Shortly, if you like it, like it, if you don't, leave it be. It's not worth your time.
