My first phone didn’t have a SIM card, it had a rotary dial and was hardwired to a landline, but I did sometimes listen to music on it: when I’d call the Gemco customer service line and they’d put me on hold. Danny, you totally hit the nail on the head with this video! The way you describe music taking you back to a certain era or event in your life, be it happy or sad. That’s so true and amazing, especially how music that you haven’t heard in years instantly revives those memories, as if it just happened. And to think that those same types of musically-linked eras and events are happening to us every day, but we won’t realize it until some point in the future. Man, this really is a great video Danny.

For me, sometimes it is more a time travel experience than a memory. And that’s right. Music has this power.

I remember being a kid with an mp3 player in a hotel with my parents on a trip listening to Michael Jackson staring out the window looking at the stars (just like your story) and every time I listen to that song I remember that trip and how good it was! Amazing video as always... but one Mr. Music Man... I am a devout Bayern Munich fan ... other than that, great video!!

This game has that certain atmosphere that no other game has because it was specifically made for Radiohead's KID A / AMNESIA, it's really distinctive and unique, especially going through certain corridors or places that you would hear broken down ver. of tracks like Kid A. Played the original back in 1997 when I was 5. Beat it when I was 8. Rebirth and the remake trilogy is one of the best experiences in the gaming industry. Rebirth’s quality is INSANE. I loved the ending. I can’t wait for the third one.

Not spoiling here but to help someone digest the ending better and not just the ending but everything that happens after the Temple collapsed into the crater and the weirdness that ensues, you have to switch your perspective to Cloud which is the players perspective, and then outside of Cloud for the other scenes, and back to Cloud again, basically Cloud or the player character is seeing things from a different perspective from everyone else.

FF7R characters are so well done. I love it. Welcome to the club. I'm 37 and played the original in the '90s, though honestly I forgot a lot of the story and I don't want to remember. It's like experiencing it all over again. As to Aerith in the original, she straight-up dies, it's not ambiguous. I'd love her to survive in remake personally.

After part three comes out, definitely watch Advent Children. I know many people would disagree with me, but let me tell you it was my entrance into this universe, and I love the film.

The thing is 90% of the side quests are quality and just add to the overall experience. Doing everything, for me at least, was so rewarding.

I watched this video while lazing on a Sunday afternoon and found it very thought provoking. I don’t remember having anticipation and excitement for specific albums, but I certainly did have it for specific groups, and anything new they would release, I wanted it…for groups whose entire portfolios I had listened to and thought they were that good. But there were limits. Queen for example released album after album with each one being nothing short of outstanding, but when Hot Space came out it was too far from where they had come from and too far down a path I thought they hadn’t wanted to go down, and at that point I lost my enthusiasm for anything forthcoming from them. Back then we only had records, and playing both sides all the way through was just what you did, and as a result you heard everything from that group. Everything. Yes Danny you are young but you are absolutely right on when you say to listen to a group’s entire discography in order to get a complete picture of their music. It’s important. I certainly believe I shared the same excitement as you, just for a slightly different reason. Thank you for sharing, and thank you for another great video Danny!

2nd Night at Wembley 2000. I already loved that song, had removed myself from the melee and crush at the front. Liam was so incomprehensible centre stage. And then Gas Panic hits mid set. That was the song where I looked out over the crowd, the cool breeze started to come in, the skies finally went dark with the summer sun receding and it all made sense. It was quite a moment.
