+Ben Derpinghaus 1. RUclips is pretty worldwide lol, and there are a LOT of cars here; many more than either of us have seen. 2. A two speed drag transmission with a high stall converter that requires nitrous to get going mated to a built and high strung 1000+ hp (seriously 1000+ hp! people take that number for granted these days, it's NOT easy to get) 3.2l engine with two massive turbos is not even close to remotely daily friendly. I'm not knocking the car mind you, it really is an impressive piece of kit, and I have all kinds of respect for the builders. The car most likely is registered, full interior, full weight and running on radial tyres according to the laws of whatever prefecture it lives in. It may even be "streetable" in the loose definition that it is capable of being driven on the street. But daily driven? Not even the poster of the video claims that.
+Youblixuous 2 very good points. everything is tuneable tho. I think taking some out of it and dial the stall down and its a daily capable car. I do agree with you that it's a term used lightly and in the full race tune it probably isn't very street friendly
do precision and garett sell twins like two gtx's and gen2 turbos
this is 1/4 mile?
how does that two speed auto let a car run such a fast time?
RD28??
did he say it has an RD28 block? didn't know a RB head works on a diesel block...that's interesting
+ivorton23, the blocks are almost identical to the rb petrol block, its not uncommon for people to use rd blocks.
+scootbmx01 What sort of stroker would he be running to achieve 3.2L though, SPOOL 3.4L for the RB30? minus 200cc to get 3.2?
RD block is much more heavy duty and stronger. This is why people use them
Very impressive, still prefer 'Jun ii' though. Maybe it's the crazy gate and extra gear hahaha
where's the 7.9 run? :S
We weren't there for it. We can't afford to have cameramen at every event and every test and tune
+MotiveDVD that's a poor excuse haha. ;)
left right brake light is out
John looks a lot like Laurence Fishburne.
7.9 at 1767mph eh? Impressive
+Willy Wanka Must be a BT1 Uleh
Not nearly as much squat as some other cars I've seen. Nice job
Where was the takeoff
Street s a very, very loose term these days. Still great build on an awesome car!
+Youblixuous this is probably one of a handfull of cars on youtube that actually is a street car. that is totally capable of daily driving
