This is by far the best fast and furious movie it’s the only one that actually focuses on the nightlife & street racing aspects literally every other fast movie is a heist action movie with federal police and not a single true night time racing experience 💯
I wouldn't mind a return to this kind of form for a spin-off series. F&F Presents kinda thing, with different beautiful cities around the world. Nightlife, racing, and drama - a more grounded series with lower budgets would probably crush on streaming

If you want a funny theory that has been said to be true by both the director (Justin Lin) and actor (Sung Kang) that Han's TRUE origin story is from Better Luck Tomorrow. Justin Lin also directed Better Luck Tomorrow as well as a lot of the Fast and the Furious movies. So , Better Luck Tomorrow is a Fast and the Furious franchise movie too. lol
this is still my favorite one out of the series, the culture, the music and the cars as well as the characters just make it feel so real.

@@dsmth3261 I've seen a fair amount of people like me who only like the first movie + Tokyo Drift because, for the most part, the cars and racing were a huge focus unlike what the series became. Plus when Tokyo Drift released drifting and Japanese cars were just super popular as were racing video games that featured street style underground racing. It's a nostalgic movie if you grew up during that era. They're kinda campy but fun and TD especially focused on the cars.
Fun fact 2. The main character, is the kid from slingblade
Army Brat is when the kid grows up in other countries because their parent is in the military stationed overseas. Bow Wow though the main character was an Army brat like him.

I Feel Tokyo Drift Gets To Much Hate I Enjoy This Movie Quite A Bit
I think a lot of car guys and drifters love this movie but folks that don’t know much about cars don’t like them as much
So in regards to Dom's appearance at the end, the story goes Paul Walker (Brian) was supposed to be the one to make an appearance at the end but couldn't make time to shoot the scene so they went with Vin Diesel instead, it makes sense given Brian always drove Japanese cars (the orange Supra in the first and the silver Skyline and gold Lancer Evo in the second film rather than the American muscle cars Dom always drove).
Nah Vin Diesel was initially not going to reprise his role (hence why he wasn’t in the second one). Even though the second one is a cult classic (vin didn’t like the script) the production company realized his appeal so they were able to come to a compromise or agreement and that’s why he made the cameo at the end (because it was all last minute).

Fun facts on this movie
TD (Tokyo Drift) did not take place in Tokyo only scene that took place in Tokyo is when the crowd was in the streets and the actor Lucas Black (Sean in the movie) and the producer in the director got arrested because in Japan you need a film permit and not just that there was no movie making or film consent in Japan sold the majority of what we seen in this movie was in Los Angeles they just recreated Tokyo.
Originally Paul Walker supposed to be in Tokyo Drift But instead the studio did not want Paul Walker to be in the movie because they feel like he would be too old and real life Paul Walker was really upset about this change with Universal Studios and he was upset and he could not stop talking about it according to his brothers and family. Until they finally returned back and part 4, and this is not a spoiler because you can see the cover of Fast and Furious 4, which is the soft reboot of them bringing back the original characters and actors. Originally Paul Walker was supposed to be in this movie including Vin Diesel but Vin Diesel was not in the movie obviously that changed at the end of the movie because Vin Diesel me to deal with Universal Studio that if he could get the whole rights to his movie Riddick then he will return in the movie which is the reason why we see him at the end of Tokyo Drift.
Obviously some people brought this up in the comment section about the two Fisher guys were actually the stuntman the guy who was saying that you call that drifting he may want to the scenes look too good where like it was supposed to be looking like a amateur drifting but the scene was so good that they kept in the movie where Sean was drifting in the Hills. Also those guys were known for being the real drift Kings more specifically the one that was talking a lot of trash about Sean drifting. He won multiple championships.
Justin Lin the director of this movie the actor who plays on was in another of his films I forgot the name of the movie but it's a Canon sort of with Tokyo Drift and the other movie that the reason why you see Han snacking so much with chips it's because in the other movie he was smoking cigarettes a lot and to make this a little bit parallel why he snacking too much because the character Han decided to stop smoking and changes habits to always snacking on something as a somewhat healthy habit instead of a bad one.
I agree with you on the aspect that Tokyo Drift could be more independent movie rather than being in the FF franchise. But i personally like it the most among the other FF movies, tbh. Loved your reaction, keep your cool work, MJ

Lucas (the white dude) is actually such a cool dude irl hollywood didnt get to him, this movie is a good addition to the series considering the "car scene" they had in LA from F&F1 is from Japan so it only makes sense they'd eventually head over there. a few fun characters in this one, Han is fantastic and such a chill dude just relaxing and eating all the time lol
