Hi i have a 2008 Elantra i want to change thamostat myself after i watch your video but i didn't actually see you bleeding coolant / thamostat...thanks
The torque spec on the three bolts is 16.7-19.6 Nm, and 14.7-19.6 Nm on the 2 nuts. You can just make it ~18Nm on all of them and you're good to go. 13 ft-lbs or 160 in-lbs. This is really not a lot of torque, so if you're not using a torque wrench, don't tighten them down excessively.
My mother has this same and her "Service Engine Soon" light came on so I scanned it and it came back saying "Missfire in cylinder 1" so just hoping that when I replace the plugs and coils that everything will be good to go for her.
Hi, I am replacing the thermostat housing filler neck on my 2008 Hyundai Accent. I have run into a problem. The filler neck I have only has 2 bolt holes while my research shows the thermostat housing filler neck has 3 bolt holes. All part stores and the internet shows the filler neck has 3 bolt holes. Does anyone know if my car could have had an engine swap? if so to what types of engines? I need to find a filler neck part that fits my thermostat housing and can't find anything anywhere since MY parts do NOT match. please help me,
I can try to help if you look at my channel link and click on my Instagram and send me a message and a picture of the part of your engine and the thermostat.
Good day to you my friend, no I’m a jack of all trades and master of none except for one. By trade on my computer technician. But I can do many things like working on cars and appliances. And then I have many hobbies like magnet fishing and flying drones. And I like going on road trips and also visiting cemeteries and my respects. So you will never know what kind of video you will see on my channel. I never try to limit myself to just one genre. How have you been my friend? I still watch your videos and I am simply amazed about your artistic ability and I so wish that I had that ability. Anyways I will not talk your ear off and I hope your day is going great. 👍✌️

Yes absolutely being a computer technician helps and working on cars and just luckily I’m a geek that has muscles. Yes my how to videos with working on cars and also working on video game systems and sometimes food challenges have brought in my most views. My most watched video is actually on how to refill ink cartridges at over 115,000 views. And every time I do a car video eventually it ends up into the thousands of views.

how's it going. I have a similar car, and it is spending too much gasoline. What can I change so that you already spend so much? thanks in advance, regards.
Checking your tire pressure and making sure that they are inflated properly, checking the fluids and making sure they are right such as the oil. Also the spark plugs are very important so that your engine runs smoothly and does not misfire. And make sure that your car is aligned because if your car is misaligned you could get worse gas mileage. These are the things that are easy and that can be checked that I know off the top of my head.
I searched a lot to find such a detailed explanation. Thank you, it was a beautiful work.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍
Your Welcome 👍
Tackling this tomorrow morning, fingers crossed. Same symptoms. Great video showing me how fn easy it is. Just saved me money, thanks brother!

What position on the thermostat should the jiggle valve be in?
It should be pointed downward toward the 6 o’clock position.

Well made video. Good job.

Thank you sir! Going to replace in a 2007 today on my daughter's car. Nice to see how it's done.

🤞. I hope so too my friend.
Super common on this gen hyundai accent for coils to go. Mine throws one out once a year minimum.
@@dank1395 Factory spark plug gap is the issue, tighten the gap to .41 instead of .44 like it comes and it will never happen again.
Whats up with the oil sitting in your throttle body? May need a new PCV valve.
I have another Video coming where I do just that.

@@Mr_Goody thank you ur video helped alot. I ended up losing the 3 bolts that hold down the breather box 😂 trying to figure out what kind they were
You can pick up spare bolts at just about any hardware store for probably under two dollars easily. Is the thermostat working OK now?
