THANK YOU MichaelRogge for sharing this clip, very beautiful, looking forward to your other posting.......
Old spore was vibrant and easy going with slow life pace...money scarcity no problem...everybody took care of each other.
i love the good old singapore days, simple life :)
Mr. Michael, I really appreciate all of your videos, all of them are so BEAUTIFUL and your views and number of subscribers didn't do your videos justice. Indeed a time machine to bring us young people to have a sneak peak of how our ancestors lived.
Thank you so much Mr. Michael. Lots of love from Malaysia.
The guy at 0.03 is very handsome :)

ha ha the backstreets of S'pore good clip Michael
I wonder if that parrot is still alive ? Some parrots can get very old.
Hello sir, can I have your permission to use a portion of your clip for my school's History Project? Thanks!
Yes,OK
That’s how I remember Singapore. I served there in the Royal Marines 1961-63. Today it holds no interest for me, just one sanitised modern city now, without an ounce of its old originality left. To wander the old streets of Singapore was an education for me , then an innocent 18 year old.
We might have passed each other in the backstreets of Singapore. Presentday tourists have no idea what cities looked like before.
MichaelRogge we could well have done. Most probably around Bugis St, Queen St, Albert Rd, Rochor Rd, Geylang??? Lol.
I really missed those places queens st then waterloo..bugis st and malabar was turned into a shopping mall but it kept the some original shop houses..jalan besar and little india..these kids are now "uncles" playing board games below the hbd...I used to live there in Dakota Crescent an SIT housing..
These kids if they still alive today their age probably is around 60's
back then malaya was so simple.. nowadays full of religion extremist and lunatics preaching for all to hate each other in the name of religion. viva la Malaya! wish could go back in time.
I still believe Singapore has what I am looking for which are Kung Fu and food.
@aa00225 Hahahahahaha.
