@@ipp-dds while that’s likely, I can’t find any Star Wars sources that say they would be able to, the hoth AT-ST is a different model than the Endor one and in the original movie prop there are designs for bolts holding them shut, though lore wise it is likely they could still open somehow
I have one of these, are used to have the rogue one model. I just decided to get one again because that model was taken apart long ago, but I really liked it. I was able to do the modification for the windows with it being able to close completely.

Thr flaps have to be closed, they were in the movie and in the comics. They were closed to wind and snow didn't get in the cockpit :)

But in the movies they don’t open there is actually a 360 degree hologram that shows the out side but still very nice mof
With the window mod did those pieces already exist within the set and you just moved it around or no because I just got it and built it yesterday

I went with a more Return of the Jedi design for the opening windows, the regular set nails the Hoth design imo
That's not accurate
