- Calamity's NEW Harvest Update (v2.0.4) is now LIVE. This introduces over 50 new weapons or weapon reworks to Calamity. Notable changes include a drastic rework to Calamity bullets, with the ranger class getting some awesome new features!

The removed contact damage on a lot of bosses is going to be HUUUGE for True Melee players due to how actually nutty their DPS actually is (as that's its gimmick: Massive bursts of damage on small intervals) cant wait to see some insanely fast TTK videos using them

@@DDRMANIAC007 In a lot of bosses, yes, im half expecting a true melee damage nerf across the board since those multipliers are so absurd due to how it works
@@DDRMANIAC007only when the boss is idling, if it’s charging or jumping or something like that it’ll still damage you, but if the boss is just standing/floating around you can get right up in its face no problem. Really useful change against brimstone elemental, but less useful against slime god.

Damn, I absolutely like Pulse Rifle, Supernova (incredibly stunning) and Iridescent Excalibur reworks. I hope we’re getting closer and closer to Signus, Slime God, Yharon and DoG reworks/resprites, as well as Calamitas clone, Ravager, Aquatic Scourge and Cryogen ones. Great video as always btw

im glad so many launchers are getting reworks, i hope they rework magnomaly cannon next lol. i hope to be able to actually do a full launcher run, like how you can with flamethrowers (just finished that run, it was really really fun)

the Terraometer rework is amazing, I loved the weapon before and now I love it more
the only way i'm using snipers like the nitro express stuff is if it does more DPS than one of the automatics or if there ever is some sort of quickswitch accessory that lets you switch right after a shot and reloads the gun instantly like doom eternal

I just finish my first playthrough of calamity in a long time m, right before this update launched. I can’t wait to play this through again in a year or so after all the changes and new bosses and such come out. This update looks sick.

Hey, so I just started playing the Calamity mod yesterday. Are there any weapons that are similar to the Wulfrum Screwdriver that I can get down the road? The screw launch is tricky to pull off, but SO satisfying when I manage land the shot.
Theres not alot where you can finish an entire playhtrough with them but crackshot colt and midas prime are probably the most similiar you can get to the screwdriver

This might be just my warhammer brainrot, but I wonder if the Dark Master is a reference to Be'lakor? Since his title is the Dark Master and has the power to control shadows in various ways (I've been playing too much Total War Warhammer...)

I've been playing a ranger calamity infernum run and I have to say that the Polaris Parrotfish got a huge downgrade. I thought the original Parrotfish was really unique with its stacking mechanic and life regen but now they changed it to a generic spray gun with VERY LOW range. It also use to get around 1800 dps (fully stacked) at a distance in the setup I was using and now it only gets 800 at max distance. Its a shame since it carried me through all 3 mechanical bosses but the other ranger weapons look good!

I think they should also work on simolifying some of the weapon descriptions if possible. I have to read an entire essay sometimes and use eay too much time to inderstnd how a weapon exactly works so many times playing this mod. (I might also just be stupid but im pretty sure most of yall are too)
