- Albies have arrived off Cape Cod and the Islands in force, so I figured I would share this TV episode for the first time on RUclips! This episode was filmed on September 13th, 2019 and originally aired during the winter of 2020 on NBC Sports Boston, presented by the @GooseHummock.
During this trip, big schools of false albacore were feeding on the surface alongside bonito and Spanish mackerel. To watch more episodes of My Fishing Cape Cod TV, please go to www.myfishingc... and consider joining as a member. ✌🏻

Great job. You redeemed yourself. Shallow water kayak. Kudos!!
It was such a fun day. Hope to have another trip like this again this September! Thanks for watching and tight lines!
Was up your way fishing Cape cod canaI over the holiday weekend. I was shocked to see a huge bluefin breach in the canal. Thanks for the video
Last year we saw a huge one at midnight. We saw it under the lights of the R.R. bridge. Then we saw one in the daytime, about a week later. Also heard of great whites eating seals at East end last year
Tuna do occasionally show up inside the canal. There are a few stories of people hooking them too. Usually they get spooled!
I've seen tons jump at canal. Flying volkwagons.
@@MyFishingCapeCod yup happened to my buddy, melted his reel
that was awesome!
Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching!
What beach were you around ? Tried south cape today … no luck
Feel free to send me an email at ryan@myfishingcapecod.com. Happy to help if I can.
The fitst fish in the movi has the scientific name "Sarda sarda". In Iitaly we call palamita
Awesome! Thanks for the comment my friend.
Caught a nice albie on the Southside also. 7lbs.
PRO TIP: Be patient match the hatch.
Nice! That's a good size one. Seems like there's been some big ones around so far this year.
Awesome content. Which green st crouix inshore rod did you use.
Thanks for watching! It’s the St Croix Avid 7’ VIS70MF
@My Fishing Cape Cod haha I just picked up same rod at redtop the other day in a heavy fast. Waiting to get out in the boat in few weeks for top water striper action.
Nice job 👍
Thank you! Cheers!

Not in my kayak (thankfully) but I have encountered a few while out in boats.
