In 1984 I was on a Western Pacific sea cruise on The US Navy Destroyer Tender AD-37 U.S.S. Samuel Gompers..."We Deliver"... We set out from San Diego on July 8th... The same day they released "Ghostbusters" to the theatres. Later that year on the high seas, twice did my shipmates and I see a huge herd of dolphins pass by. It was amazing... so many of them... all travelling in the same direction... diving, broaching, leaping, swimming like a wide channel of Dolphins flowing across the deep blue sea of the Indian Ocean Gyre. I could see the expressions on their faces.
When animals suddenly act and move like this, there is a problem coming. They know ahead and move ahead. Only humans do not heed the danger coming. They wouldn't be surprised when things happen afterward.
Actually this is standard expected behavior, look at the weather over the ocean that's been happening off the cali coast lately. Dolphins, whales etc are all known to bail on an area when sea states start getting like that. At first they all gather and take advantage of the massive feeding opportunity the storms bring and then they all leave. What you want humans to do? Leave the ocean? I think we already did 😂
In the “Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy” books, dolphins were identified as being more intelligent than humans. They left Earth before the planet was destroyed. Clearly, that’s what’s happening here
It's not rare at all. In fact, the whale watch tour company says Dana Point is home to dolphin stampedes and they see them all the time.😂 "The tour agency has captured many dolphin stampedes in recent years on their RUclips page," and, “Dana Point has always been home to the dolphin stampede,” Anderson told Storyful." Drives me nuts when they record in Vertical when clearly, Horizontal would be so much more effective & dramatic🐬🐬🐬🐬🐬🐬🐬 There are much better clips @ Utube of this.
I dreamed of swimming with dolphins that very night. Wow.

Wow wow! Thank you for posting the clip. It's really mesmerizing!!!
How cool it would be to somehow get an underwater picture of this happening. Highly unlikely, but just wow! Mother Nature at her best!!!

someone said, "hey everybody today is 75% off day after xmas sale at macy's!!"
This is beautiful and all but what are they running(swimming) away from? That’s the big question.
Wow! 🐬 ❤
So beautiful God's creation
this one?
How much better would videos like this be if the operator would just hold the phone in landscape mode? SMH
I could have been better by turning the camera horizontal.
Any orcas close by?

There’s a boat driving through them on a drone video. 😲🙄
maybe this boat where the video was filmed from?
What the heck sets 'em off into a stampede?
Concert and gathering. 🐬🎶🎵🐬
