You should do some kind of scooter build! Amazing cheap, safe simple fun. Me and many of my friends have drive Yamaha Sliders and from factory they are incredible wheelie machines. Usually they come with a limiter but 10min of work removing it and they do around 60kph and are great fun.

The scooter in the first clip is a Yamaha Aerox and it has front and rear disk brake, still they're not as powerful as the ones on a bigger bike, but they're more than enough

I'm late, but just picked up a brand new 2024 mt-07 for my new stunt bike replacing my 05-06 (yes, a 05-06) 636 stunt bike. first couple miles in and I was comfortable 12ing it. Its just so easy to wheelie. and sounds way better than a 636.
Same here on my 05, minus rear fender elimination, the servo delete (got servo buddy) the exhaust (akropovic), double bubble windshield. Love my bike, had it since 11,000 miles, now at I think 24, 000 and I've had it parked for 7 months.. I'm paranoid because I need to do the valve clearance check, I got my oem new valve cover gasket and 2 sets of feeler gauges and a micrometer, I've never mest with cams and timing on any motorcycle.. I want to do it myself so I know it's done though. Gotta check it out see what shims I need then I'll order one of those hotcams valve shim kits off Amazon.
MT is just the newer FZ's they did a name change as far as i'm aware. Edit: did a quick google "It was called the FZ-07 in North America until 2017, when Yamaha changed the name to MT-07 to match it's name in the rest of the world."
All I have right now is a 2000zx12r stretched an lowered It's covered in dust and cobwebs lol I've had it for 10 years now And I have A 05 CRF 250X supermoto motor locked up and got a 01 yz250f it's a nice bike zero rust and not missing a single nut or bolt but the gas tank has a crack in it and I put a new timing chain in it and now I believe the valve shims are out of speck the old timing chain was bad really stiff but the bike would start first kick now it takes like 30 kicks but when it fired up it sounds way better I need to check it out

Problem is the clutch cable gets worn quickly as it isn't as long as I'd like it to be. Any ideas what clutch line to use or any specific models I can use one from?. Would be a great help. I do stunt it when the car works properly. Slow build as money is tight but I do have an impaktech cage as well as shorty clutch and handbrake. Got a hole cut in my rear seat. 12 bar. Windscreen cut and -1/+5 on the sprockets. And suggestions would be really appreciated! Hope 2023 treats you well man!

Just the name. FZ was the name for USA market only and since 2017 they too stsarted calling them MT i guess Yamaha was pushing that (MT-Master of Torque) brand name to be the same eevrywhere in the world so i belive you can not find Yamaha FZ that is produced past 2017

It can be cheap with alot of used parts around 1-1.5k but if you do it right and want a nice bike it can be 5-10k
