  • The Kawasaki 636 has long been considered the king of stunt bikes. It is often between the 2003-2004 and the 2013-2018 Zx6r that people debate. I break down some specs on the two motorcycles and hopefully clear up what bike is better than the other 636 for different riders! Enjoy this two wheel vlog! Brian 636!

    These two motorcycles, although ten years apart have alot in common. The Kawasaki ninja zx6-r had been around for several years before they decided to up the output to 636cc from the standard 599cc sport bikes. I discuss horsepower, torque, weight, seat height, wheelies, stoppies, burnouts, drifting and circle wheelie on each of these motorcycles. Before every ride on the street, we check all essential parts on the Harley Davidson 1200 sportster stunt bike, Yamaha Yz450f supermoto, and Kawasaki zx6-r motorcycle. Insurance, gasoline, tires, chain, and oil are all inspected by a motorcycle tech. Always wear your DOT approved helmet, leather gloves, and motorcycle insurance company.

    After riding a zx14r for a few weeks i picked up a 03 636 in blue and have loved every minute of it. Its my daily and has been super dependable.
    The 14r is like riding a rocket. It was comfortable on long rides and lots of fun to ride but one slip of the wrist can accidentally engage the warp drive and fire up the flux capacitor and by the time you blink you're in the future wishing you wore your brown pants. 🤣🤣🤣

      How is the 03 636 for daily riding? I want to get a 2007 one in my area but I’m not sure, I plan on daily riding it (sort of) to work (which is like 30-40 mins away) but idk

      @@lolyouwontfindme6070 it was great for daily riding. My daily trip to work was 12 miles one way and I never had a complaint (40 yr old rider at the time) It was great on the street and has the top end to comfortably ride highways no problem. I loved it, I ended up trading it for a truck because my son was learning to drive and needed a vehicle. I'm currently saving for another one (now 42)

    • @erikdutter2516
      @erikdutter2516 3 года назад

      Then you need to go research YOUR bike. His newest bike is only a 13. That's 3 years between yours and his. The possibilities in the differences between them is more than what you see on the outsides. For example, I have an 06 r6. The 07 is identical. They changed nothing. 05 to 06 got a ton of engine upgrades. In 08 Yami many don't engine changes, yet again. Which I feel like was all part of the plan to make the r6 a closed course bike. Normal take offs on the street are where you will bl notice the biggest change. I think they went from 08-12 with this engine and tunning set up. They moved pretty much all your bottom end torque to the upper- middle and top end rpm ranges. So at normal take off, the bike grips like it's going to stall on you. It has basically no power at low rpms. Therefore, this generation of the r6 is meant to cater more towards your track riders and racers who are always riding going anywhere from 8k-17k rpms. There's more differences too. Such as suspension, gearing, weight, compatible parts, etc etc. The best thing you can do is go do your own research on different generations of the bike YOU want for the way YOU ride.

    Technically 2002 was the first 636
    "With strong competition from Honda's CBR600F4i, Suzuki's GSX-R600, and Yamaha's YZF-R6, Kawasaki decided on an unusual move for the late 2002 models. They increased the capacity of the traditional 600 cc (37 cu in) motor to 636 cubic centimetres (38.8 cu in) with the ZX-6R A1P. This version used the J series bodywork with the only notable differences being the "636" stickers on the fairing. For riders who needed bikes for displacement-restricted racing, Kawasaki also made available a limited production 599 cc (36.6 cu in) version, the Ninja ZX-6RR, but the 636 cc (38.8 cu in) ZX-6R would be their main mass production middleweight sport bike."

    YA BUDDY!!!!!!! Man what a phenomenal video🤯👏👌👍, so much detailed information. You killed it yet again👏. I miss my 04 now😢. You know I'm not a stunter, I like hauling ass, rippin up the pavement, but when I dropped the engine to do maintenance in the winter. When I first seen the front motor mounts it was very clear, that was a weak point. I only did 3 small wheelies, in the 2 1/2 - 3 years I owned it. Each of the 3 wheelies, I cringed as the front end came down. Well its back to the dirt bike and the mountains for me next season. I picked up a 09 CRF450R. Man keep up the awesome job your doing, love these type of videos, just like the stunt tutorial videos you did👌👍. I'm gonna message you tm.

    I want an 03/04 so bad and have cash waiting to buy the right one but if I can't then 13+ it is then which I was thinking you can buy salvaged (with minimal damage) for cheap then swap frame and subframe because you'll have to eventually anyways...

    From Wikipedia:
    With strong competition from Honda's CBR600F4i, Suzuki's GSX-R600, and Yamaha's YZF-R6,
    Kawasaki decided on an unusual move for the late 2002 models. They
    increased the capacity of the traditional 600 cc (37 cu in) motor to 636
    cubic centimetres (38.8 cu in) with the ZX-6R A1P. This version used
    the J series bodywork with the only notable differences being the "636"
    stickers on the fairing. For riders who needed bikes for
    displacement-restricted racing,
    Kawasaki also made available a limited production 599 cc (36.6 cu in)
    version, the Ninja ZX-6RR, but the 636 cc (38.8 cu in) ZX-6R would be
    their main mass production middleweight sport bike.

    What would you consider a good price for one of these bikes used? How much would that expected price change if it was previously stunted vs one that was never stunted?

    Bryan can I have your 2 cents. I just bought a 05 r6 but upon further inspection I noticed that the frame has a big scrape on the upper right side by the radiator. And behind the engine block has some sort of bondo type of patch. The bike runs great but am scared this might cause me an accident . Do you think I should sell it?

    Brian you need to get an FZ/MT 07 and test it out for a while and make this video again! Now which 636 you choose is up to you lol. Hell when you come down to Texas for any rides I’ll happily give you my bike to test out 🤣

    Hey, so like, is there a difference between bikes in the same generation? Like 2013-2018 or something, what are the differences?

    Have you seen anyone using the Kawasaki Z line of bikes for stunting like the Z650 or Z400? And whats your opinion on them?

    I love my 04 636 but need the the front end swap I roll about 30 foot stoppies with rubber brake lines and no steering stabilizer 😱 and my front engine mount is broke 😪 not if u ask the zip ties thoe haha

  • @zackbremer1
    @zackbremer1 Год назад

    why are your forks raised like 3in in the triple clamps on the 2013? the clip ons are still underneath, lowering the front end that much may contribute to that feeling you get on stoppies?

    Brian can you check out musa 750 burnouts and Tito 600 gxsr burnouts on RUclips .. because I see a lot of stunt riders burnout but not like that and was just wondering if you could do it
