Getting divorced and married on the same day? At least make the story possible. Besides you can’t get married until a judge in court grants your petition for a divorce.
Ahhh Drake is one of those Dunning-Kruger lawyers, he believes and thinks he knows how the divorce will play out cause his wife is aging and thats a valid enough reason in the courts, but in true reality that hamster wheel he calls a brain is running in reverse and he doesn't know shiznit....
There are plenty of places where people can get divorced for any reason. It doesn't matter whether or not the courts agree with it. So how could it be an invalid reason?
Something tells me, he can dispute ownership, proven he was the one paying the loan off. And probably also sue ex-wife for the damages on a fraud attempt.
Every country has their own laws and processes on these things. In many places, it doesn't matter who was contributing to the payments. It only matters who's name the ownership is under. They are renters, not the owner. If you go by your logic, then tenants can sue their landlords for the house they live in, because they paid into it.
As he lived there rentfree exept for the loan payments, he paid the loan as rent. He would have no leg to stand on. Where I live, his position would even weaker. He would probably lose the house, even if the papers were changed to his name. The house would be considered a present and his M-i-L would be entitled to sue to get her property back (for a period of up to ten years). He wronged her and her family member and betrayed their trust after all.
@@stefaniebraun3319 Up to 10 years sounds very generous! But then again, it is a house and it takes decades to pay it off for many people. It's not the same as owing someone $1,000. I'm curious to know how many years that would be here. I'm more familiar with tenant/landlord laws here than homeownership and properties.
Paying off a loan while the deed remains in someone else's name is viewed as "renting" in most states and provinces. If the mother passed away, it would be listed as part of her estate - not the son-in-law's property. All that matters to the courts is whose name is on the deed as that is "proof of ownership". This is why you can buy property (such as an apartment building) and rent out apartments. If all that mattered is who is making the payments, then anyone who ever rents would be declared "the owners" of every place they rented.
@@grammasscotsgirl yes, you're right. I wonder if there are any countries that this wouldn't apply for situations like this. Laws can be weird in some countries. I do know in some countries if there is no will and someone dies and the spouse's name wasn't on the assets, they are automatically divided to the spouse and children, rather than just the spouse.
ONE MORE TIME - You give the bad guys too much dialog. It makes the story drag and is irritating. You let them go on and on and on and on. It's one thing to have the villain monologue, but you guys take it to far. This is the best and most important critique I can give you.
Dont show weakness! Dont let them know theyre bothering you!
Imagine telling the judge that you’re divorcing your wife because she was going through the natural process of AGING
Then he would have to get divorced every 10 years and find someone younger. That's quite a few marriages and divorces!
Then he catches up with age and the younger women who he goes after say " ugh, you're old!". Karma, ya!
Stop with the needless hmhmhm giggles

Sue Drake for alimony and compensation. Sue Chloe for compensation.
Pride go before the fall
Work from pride not weakness!
5 minutes in, I would have blocked and called a lawyer. And what about her signature
This is one of the silliest storyies yet
Divorce and married at the same time? How does that work. Did she even sign the papers?
I would've sold the house and kept the money.
Khloe only stole and married Drake for the house (and his income) and hes pissed at her for telling his ex he was cheating with her.
and they are both bad at managing money
Stuff that, I would have sold that house asap.
Ah Text Land where you can get divorced and married in the same day😂
And where people can just take someone else's house...
I honestly wonder if that’s a cultural thing, it’s so prevalent in these stories.
I Know Someone In Chicago That The Day Their Divorce From Their Previous Wife Was Final He Married His Third Wife .
Hey, keep your logical timelines to yourself! 😂
And where people have text conversations while in the same room alone! 😅
Khloe will be Drake’s next wife. Until his next wife.
The MC should never keep the friendship knowing she was a homewrecker.
The loser in this story is the house.
The script is very good and interesting
I would sell the house in a heartbeat. Drake doesn't deserve it. And the mistress definitely doesn't deserve it. Sell it to the highest bidder.
Karma really bites, huh, Khloe!?!
Drake can always rent a house commensurate with his status
He going to hand in marriage papers and then the divorce papers? Thats beyond backwards.
Goodness.... The higher the pride the more painful and harder the fall.
Aspen breaking out that Royal Flush GENIUS while Drake and Khloe think its a game of Gold fish or Old Maid.
And that Royal Flush is all Aces.
Can these writers write a script with dialog other than "huh?"?
Well, if MC paid into the house too why would she just give the house to Drake anyway? I’d make him reimburse my share at the very least.
Ah! A satisfying soap opera. (Made a comment because I think comments figured in the RUclips monetization formula for channel owners.)
You can't get divorced and married to someone else in the same day at least here in the usa
Aspen! LOL! What next Pine, Poplar, Spruce, Larch….?
Holly, juniper, .......
It's a pretty common name
@@pollypockets508 People on here love to assume things are the same everywhere in the world like it is where ever they are... 🙄
Glad he told Khole that he loves her to her face and not her butt
Now the 2 backstabbers, Drake and Khloe will NEVER be able to get the mansion since Drake got sent to the sticks due to the fights and rumors.

Apparently they have same-day divorce service.
@@cyndicook7755 And judges on standby too.

Drake, in my opinion, doesn't know anything but two things, which are Jack and Shit and Jack left town.
So what ever happened to Khloe?

Bad British accent.

That might be because it's a New Zealand accent! 😊
