Making fingertip hot pads for use with microwave dishes or possibly oven dishes. Also bought a microwave bowl cozy one to make. Both are machine embroidery in the hoop projects.
I have not used my embroidery attachments much this year. I need to look into some projects. I am curious bout your cozies etc. I will be doing some research now. Thanks for the ideas!
Hey ... I have a shirt in that truck fabric. Lots of fun fabrics in this video. Great hats too. I am currently finishing up a shirt for my daughter-in-law. I am supposed to be making matching pajama pants for the family for Christmas.
Great truck fabric! I want to make matching Christmas shirts or PJs every year, but I haven't since my kids are all older and have partners. I need to start in August to get it all done! Which shirt pattern did you choose for her? Lucky gal!
@@stacyrobbins Butterick 6690. It is a pattern for knits so I got to work with my serger. All I need to do now is have her try it on so I can get the length right.
I have been knitting a sweater since last winter. I go in spurts working on it so I have not made a ton of progress. But like you said, its something to do while watching tv or a movie. I made a Japanese linen apron last week and the itch to stitch Majorelle raglan button up out of a tencel denim. I think it turned out pretty good. This time of year is dangerous with all the sales! I have ordered a bunch of fabric too. 😆 Can't wait to see what you sew up in your new fabric. Happy Thanksgiving!
My daughter just brought me a pile of sale fabric from JoAnn's for scrubs hats. It is hard to pass up. I love a no deadline project that can be worked on whenever. Your projects sound lovely. I always look up the patterns when anyone mentions what they are sewing. I love seeing what you are working on. Cheers to you and your Holiday projects.
You has been busy busy lady... loving your projects... I'm doing sweatshirt/goodies for all this year...I'll be making the Pheobie for my daughter with the hood... we live in Montana so hoods are a necessity... lol... have a wonderful Thanksgiving from our family to yours...
Happy (after) Thanksgiving to you! I am trying to get my patterns prepped now. Have you made Pheobe before? It is so cute! Your daughter will love it. If I lived there I would become a hood gal too!
I have not made the Phoebie yet... I want 1 also... lol... please let us know how you do with Sonia Estep's patterns... I have over 20 of her patterns...
It is such a fast project let me know what fabric you choose when you finally track one down. Etsy often will have older or out-of-stock patterns. Amazon will too but they are usually full price! Happy Sewing 🧵
