I have always thought that these would be lovely out of vintage silk scarves that you have been given or have and no longer wear. Nice for a sweet evening bag I feel. Will you make one for us please?❤
Oh, wow! I'm always impressed with your creative skills, and so glad that you share them here. I've seen these bags online, but never gave much thought to them, let alone trying to make one. But it's great incentive for some rather quick projects. They'd be great to throw my phone, keys, and lipstick in for short errands, or to clear the bathroom countertop of various cosmetics. They'd also make a great gift bag for a stash of tea bags. Thank you so much, Stacy. You excel at these "independent" projects! Cheers from Norman!
So many good ideas for these little bags! I agree they are perfect for a quick out the door bag. Are you sewing for Holidays? I have lists and lists. I appreciate your watching and commenting. It is always fun to hear from you.
What a great idea for a crochet or knitting bag! I am not coordinated enough to crochet and walk at the same time -- but would definitely use one for taking projects to work on while in the carpool line at school. Using the various fabrics really gives a lot of options for use. Thanks!!!
So, It turns out I can't walk and do anything else. I will fall in a hole or walk into a pole! It was huberis on my part. It is perfect for car rides (when I am not the driver). It also is small enough the cat and my crochet will fit on my lap.
Some people may think that is knot an interesting project, but I think that you clearly have gift giving in the bag. I am not sure I could crochet with something dangling from my arm that way.
I said I could walk and crochet but the truth is I would fall in a hole or trip over something. 😅 I have taken it in the car (I wasn't driving) and was pleased with the small size.
Hey Stacy 👋 Would using double sided tape make sewing the handle seams easier? Especially on the blue/red bag where the outer material kept creeping? Ok, back to watching your video 🙂
Hi Stacy! I love behind the scenes shots! I'm loving this video. I'm trying to print out a pattern right now and in search of it in my computer!😮
Zelda! I always wonder where the files go. 😅 I look forward to seeing what your bags look like. Happy sewing!

OOHHH! I don't know if I could cut up a lovely scarf but I am now intrigued and looking to thrift some. Love this idea!
