Great Asby Scar - Over The Hill Mountain Biking

You would be forgiven for thinking Great Asby Scar and surrounding area were in the Yorkshire Dales, but it is in fact in Cumbria (Westmorland) Narrow lanes and Limestone outcrops typify this ride. Never too technical, never too steep, this is a very pleasant ride. The only section I didn't like too much was riding through the fields around Asby, and the dozens of gates to open and close. But apart from that it's a delight to ride. As usual the route links are listed below.

It's top class round there.. technically part of Yorkshire Dales NP for last 6/7 years ..called Westmorland dales to keep it's identity but scenery similar
