You have without a doubt the cleanest and most organized thrift store in your town that I have ever seen in my whole life plus they give away things for free I have yet to see a thrift store anywhere that puts out things for free you are so blessed Miss Tessie ❤️
Being an old lady, all my Thrifting partners are dead and gone, or too feeble to go with me any more. And my family members are a bit disdainful of Thrift Stores, so don't want to take me there. That is why your Thrifty Thursdays mean so much to me. Lets me still get a little taste of the fun Thrifting Life, thank you honey!
Please ask you family kindly? Say I would like to go to the thrift store once a year would you please take me? I'm sure they will. If you were my grandma I would take you.
I have a beautiful granny square bedspread my mom made for me about 49 years ago. I absolutely love it. When I am not feeling well I wrap up in it and think about mom’s hands croqueting each square. Feels like a hug from mom.
Lovely haul, Tessie. 🤗🎁 My Christmas was different this year, but very hesrtfelt and besutifully memorable. 🎄 My son pre arranged with the nurses for us to spend the day in a waiting area - I was so blessed to celebrate Christmas with my favorite people. Hallelujahs! 🥳😆 Hugs to you all. 🙏🏻🙌🏼 Shalom everyone. 💖💖💖
One of my favorite things growing up was the colorful yarn wrapped iron hangers. They are beautiful! I have some in my closet. I love your pans you found, they really were great finds. Your granny square blanket is nice and you'll love using that for sure. Have a blessed day everyone. Lord bless you sweet Tess❤❤❤
I have some in my closet too. My niece had left over yarn and I had a bunch of metal coat hangers my Hubby's uniforms came hung on. We combined our assets and made those crochet hangers. hey are pretty!
That afghan was gorgeous, Tessie. I have several that Oma made or that my grandmother gifted to me; they're so cozy and warm. I can understand why you love yours so much and are so drawn to them when you go to the thrift store. 😊
Good Morning Tessie, Sisters, Brothers, and Friends, TGIF HAPPY FRIDAY :-) Wish you all a wonderful blessed Friday filled with gods joy and Happiness :-) Remember to pray for one another and for all around the world :-) God Bless You ! Love you all :-) Keep Smiling be safe :-)
I always love seeing what you get when you go to the thrift store. I was so happy you got the Afghan. you liked the most even though it cost a bit more. I also love seeing the gifts that people send you. Have a cosy evening.❤
The shallow pan with the imprints would be for making Madeleines, a puffy, almost cake-like cookie. The other pan with the indents is certainly interesting, hopefully someone knows what that was for originally. The crochet afghan is a beautiful mix of colors. Can't wait to see what the thrift store will be like once they move to the new building.
I love your thrift store. It's charming and clean. . My aunt used to own one in WA state. My mother worked in one and brought home used clothing that she wore and also gave me. I was hoping you picked the granny square blanket. It's beautiful. ❤ I crochet a bit, but havent leaned to make that square yet.
Hi Tessie!! Your finds are fabulous, and I love the afghan!!! I have several small (thrifted) Afghans that I change out with the different Seasons/holidays. Love You!! ❤❤❤
I have 4 chrocheted blanket, 1mydaughter made for me 2 by each of mygrand mothers, both the granny squares.😊you can tell myDads mom bought all pher yarns at the dime store. Funky 70s greens& oranges, toss in hot pinky orange, snuggleing up with these is likegetting a big hug fromgrandma!😊
I Tessie! I've been looking for one of those blankets. I have a couple of crochet throws. God bless you! Hope your Christmas was great! Oh my I have that same top. lol!!
When we travel out from New Jersey to go Thrifting in Pennsylvania, this is one of our favorite shops to go to. I always am on the lookout to see if I could find you :-) one day I’m hoping to run into you and spend some time with you and just chat. I would love to just spend an afternoon sipping a cup of tea and spending time with Tessie.♥️
That is a great thrift store! Love the doilies! I believe the pan is for shortbread. That's beautiful! Love the granny square blanket! You should learn to crochet! My grandmother taught me when I was younger. God bless you Tessie and all of our friends here.😊❤

I see others have already answered the question on the pan. My Granny had one of those. I have several of her things but that was not in the items left when I got to take what I wanted.
Tessie, I knew you would get that granny square throw love what you get beautiful gifts can't wait to see my box opening I believe that muffin tin is for cookies having that design in them I seem to recall my Grandmother making cookies with a tin like that always fun to see your goodies :-) Love you my Sister :-) God Bless You and Ken :-)

MCC does such important, I'm glad to hear they need a bigger store! I'm in a metro area and the 4 thrifts that I frequent never got back to their pre-pandemic full shelves. I finally decided it's b/c of the sellers on e-bay, and the buy nothing groups around here. Nothing else explains it.
Love the granny square. My mother made alot if them and I have separated them to give to the girls. She crochet every day and made at LL kinda if utem.

I just donated that same Afghan a month ago. Had it for years belonged to a step mother n law. Kinda wish I hadn't now Merry Christmas tessie. I found several trash tudor books in thrift stores some $1 some 40$
My Grandma did lots of crocheting when she was alive. Ponchos, blankets, hot pads, really cute hair "ribbons" for my sister and me. Some had some paper clips in them and were ice skate "ribbons." 😍
I think the first cake pan you bought is for making Madeline’s … a shallow sweet cake like cookie.
That’s exactly what I was thinking
I enjoyed the video! You always find great things at the thrift store! Cannot wait till you start using the new cookbook!
I also believe the pan is to bake Madeline's. Perfect with a cup of tea or coffee.i believe they're served at High Tea.
yes
Yup a Madeline cookie pan!❤

My mother had that pan. She used it to make tarts with. Almost like a mini pie.
That pan with the designs would make beautiful little soaps or candles.

More nice finds and gifts Tessie! I think when drawer liners are scented, they are usually for bureaus that hold clothes. Could be wrong though.

Use it for your homemade soaps. The little shells especially would be cute.
