If you want to mine Alph, use your GPU rigs! Just mine something else that is profitable, sell it and buy the Alph with it. Your GPU rigs are paid off already and they can mine anything you want. The home mining Ice River units have all proven to be bricks. Every single one of them. You will never mine as much coin on that machine as you if you had bought $800 worth of coin on the same day you bought the miner. Ever!
I think mostly people are using uniswap. Me personally I send to xeggex. i could swap to another coin or usdt and send to coinbase or crypto.com if i wanted to cash out easily.
I'm trying to figure things out myself. I'm trying to get back in to mining after having 2 stroke almost a year ago (just in time for my birthday..) Power is included in my rent, it's more a matter of just figuring what to get and where to buy it. All I've done so far is a Lucky Miner 7 solo mining, with an lv03 on the way just because it's cute. Year ago I have half a dozen Antminer S3, but btc was under $200US when I sold them.. So I keep watching videos like yours trying to decide if and what I should do next.. maybe just leave it a lottery mining..
sorry that this comment was filtered by youtube. I just released it. Thanks for watching. Man, 2 strokes. i hope you are back to fully functioning my man. That is awesome that you have power included. I would love to say, go buy ___. but with this ever twisting market, tons of asics competing, it is a hard call. Personally i want to pickup a Elphapex DG 1+ home next. cost just over 2k, crank out the doge coin and only run on like 600w.
Thanks for the feedback. Hopefully Radiant keeps moving in right direction. I am just not sold that any small home miners right now, except those with great electric rates, are going to win the asic arms races
Hopefully you’ve recovered from your freakout over Alephium, as of 12/9 the coin is at $2.68 and I just bought 3 AL3 units from Nhash for $3800 each. Should have bought more as Alephium miner prices are inching back up daily. So since the video the price of the coin is up about 50% and the cost of miners is down 50% or more, sounds like the sweet spot to me. It’s all about the timing, I had no interest in any of the miners when they were tens of thousands each…. Now hoping for wide adoption of Alethium.
@kevingobeil1976 100% agree about timing. Traditionally buying a first batch asic is the optimal way to ensure roi, but based on the fomo of these they introduced them at a very high price point. Just to correct something, u said the asic is at 50% price...actually it is at 25%, or 75% off. These launched at a gross 800 usd, they are now 200 plus 55 ship. The al0 is now making 1.57 per day, after 12 cents pkwh electric, still makes 1.28 profit a day. That is a 199 day Roi if all things stayed equal. Not bad at all comparatively
I honestly would love an AL0, i still have people mining on my pool with them and they are finding blocks. The ASICs manufacturers are very aggressive in term of prices when it comes to ALPH mining, it's kinda sad.
Honestly if the price of this one were half at around $400 or less rather than $800, I wouldve been more inclined to just let it ride. I dont see this climb slowing, but i do not see any price appreciation on the market unfortunately. both the supply side and the demand side need to be rising in order for me to think these are a good investment. Thanks as always for the feedback
@gonjiskyfire6469 100% bought at the cruddy launch price. Took about a 200 dollar loss and dumped it. Then the crypto wave has rolled in. Ride that wave
I have free electricty and i want mining. i want to buy al1 pro but as you said profits goes down. what do you thing about Scrypt algoritm? antmine L9 is an option ?
Personally I have a few Mini Scripts. Running 3 goldshell Mini Doge 2's. They are solid. Mining at a loss since i do not have the luxury of the free juice. If i had free electric I think the L9 would be a solid choice. A lot of power running through that. About a third of your profits on an L9 would go to electric if it were in my situation. Let us know what you go with
i think better just keep it running, selling it now, will also end with losing money, the efficiency of this miner is still almost same as the best alph miners. only thing you can hope is the price will go up and the asic get's more expensive + you get more value. but i wish i had bought ks0 ultra instead of this one too...
Completely agree with the good efficiency comment. IceRivers as a whole generally do keep toward the top of efficiency. Definitely going to HODL the coins ive mined up to this point and hope for the best, but I am already bailing on the AL0. Hopefully I dont take a Huge L by dumping it.
You are not wrong about the ASIC makers being the winners. I keep looking at home miners and I'm happy with my Nano 3's just slowly stacking sats. Every other coin just seems like a waste of time as most miners will sell there crypto for USD or BTC so what does that tell you.
I just found a few comments that were filtered out by youtube including this one. Just wanted to say thanks for watching and the feedback. it is a new day and a evolving market.
Good advice, however all Asic launches are preorder unfortunately. The profits are highest at the beginning stages, sooo, if you wait to buy straight, yes you are more informed and can get a good picture of the market, but you generally pay more for the devices and the per day is already down and leveled off.
i had always went with the strategy of portfolio with at least a third being BTC, but lately btc seems to be the safest bet so i am moving to a 50% mode
@AlteredComponent i was actually thinking about getting a ks0ultra and just throw it in my shed and let it solo mine and forget about it. Lol. How long you been solo mining ? Havent hit any blocks ?
Yeah, the asic companies are the ones getting rich, not the miners. As for the youtube personalities, I feel you and most are getting them free for their videos. (fyi i buy almost all my hardware so I can be unbiased. If i am sent something, I make sure to explicitly state that it was provided to me) . Keep grinding my friend
*Do you have an ALPH Asic? Am I crazy for Seeing my way out on this one? What are your thoughts about RXD?*

Great feedback. Yeah, I have rigs mining Aleo Right now. Profits have dropped a good bit but still profitable. Enjoy the wave
You should make a video on how to cash out Alph. Can't find no reliable info on this. Alph to bank account.

You explain why I did buy an RX0 and not the AL0, still not sure about radiant but price was better and hopefully profitability will stay longer.
Thanks for the feedback. Hopefully Radiant keeps moving in right direction. I am just not sold that any small home miners right now, except those with great electric rates, are going to win the asic arms races
I ordered an AL0 day one also.. I sent that thing packing a couple weeks ago already.. the RX0 isn't really any better. but I have less into that.
Glad someone is on the same page. I have now sent the AL0 and the RX0 packing. I took a L on the AL0 and broke even on the Rx0

@@AlteredComponent Oh, you brought it at the wrong time? I waited for 2-3 months then bought and hoped for a good investment return.

Same here with nevered roi 4x ks0s
i still have 11 ks0 variants and have sold 4 previously. The early OG model and the first Pros ROI, after that i doubt they ever do. Mine on
never, EVER buy on preorder. Oldest scam in the book.
Good advice, however all Asic launches are preorder unfortunately. Time to pack the ks0 too its no longer worth the watts
still running 11 of the pros/ultras...but 100% agree...more electric than gains
this project will go nuts! $30-$50 is my conservative prediction
Ill check back with you 2030 and we shall see where it stands =). Hopefully you are right
JBTC!
i had always went with the strategy of portfolio with at least a third being BTC, but lately btc seems to be the safest bet so i am moving to a 50% mode
Nobody eats when bitmain releases there miners
nobody except bitmain or their affiliates that is. Gobbling up the profits and leaving miners holding the bag
Just solo mine
@kylecoffey5204 eh, honestly I have 2 ks0 pro overclocked and solo mining and not going all that well
@AlteredComponent i was actually thinking about getting a ks0ultra and just throw it in my shed and let it solo mine and forget about it. Lol. How long you been solo mining ? Havent hit any blocks ?
ASIC mining is such a scam. I am tired of RUclips personalities (not necessarily you) pushing this crap every time an ASIC gets released.
