No, it's not worth it. Use your GPU rigs to mine something else and trade it for Alph. Or buy the coin. We are too late in the cycle to invest in an Asic for anything. You will never be able to mine as much coin as you could buy the same day you pay for the machine BY THE TIME the Alph Bull run ATH hits and it's time to sell. If we were at the beginning of the bear market....maybe. But right now you have no more than 6-12 months before that ATH hits and you want to sell.
You are missing the point of ALPH mining. If you want to make money, just buy $ALPH on the markets. If you want to help expand and secure the ALPH network, then invest in miners.
Why not include tha AL Box 3 but talk about the older versions? It is less efficient than the AL2 Lite, but with code SEB, it is only 700€ so quite cheaper than the Al2 Lite
Good point, Goldshell has made so many versions of the AL BOX that I missed that one when adding them all to the spreadsheet. I've added it now, but unfortunately the code SEB doesn't work for that miner as it is already so "cheap". :(
I heard a rumor that the AL2 Lite WiFi does not work out of the box. Apparently a firmware update is needed? I bought it specifically for use as a heater, so really disappointed I can't use it. Also, why is I20 red when K20 is green?
I heard this same rumour that the Wifi doesn't work before a firmware upgrade. I guess the "good" news is at least wifi will work after the firmware update? Hopefully if this is the case they release that new firmware ASAP!
@@SebsFinTechChannel Would be nice if they reflected actual values, as many folks have them and would be interested in their comparison. you already have the available vs not-available with red/green a few rows up anyhow.
Well the numbers are still in there for comparison. The reason I didn't connect the not-for-sale miners in the color-gradient was simply because they are all so close that it just turned into a dark green smudge. Excluding them made it easier to see the small differences between the miners that are currently for sale.
4:40 THIS IS why I follow you YOUR NOT just a miner your an excell expert to show people the numbers so they know or know what to invest in!

your right thats why I found new ways with and without hardware or those expensive machines but you got the message right!

11:07 great break down don't need those machines but the gold shell AL BOX FOR $800 looks good for hardware miners!
I love the spreadsheet Seb thank you... Nice work there.. I think ALPH will 10x easy... The AL2 lite's are cheap now... 525 bucks

Yea I'm not sure about these ALPH, KAS, & KAS asics. Too risky

Did they release the FW update for the wifi?
Regarding the cells being red or green, I made the cells red for the miners that aren't available to buy. Maybe I'll just make them no colour instead.

Your spreadsheet is so out of date. Al0 is either not for sale or $650 ish. Not over $1000
As mentioned in the spreadsheet it is not for sale anymore. My spreadsheet is always up to date as it fetches numbers like that automatically.
