What a wonderful surprise to come home and see after a long day at the hospital. It's gorgeous Julia. 😁❤❤ I love watching you color with Dyan's inks especially when you shade with them. The gray/black flowers was absolutely brilliant. They are beautiful. They reminded me of black and white photos which I love!! I was talking to myself outloud when you traced all the flowers from the stencil. Is she going to doodle those or cut them? Of course you cut them all out!!! You do not do easy. It gave such gorgeous detail. I LOVE the door idea!! love the extras, tracing the cut out flowers on BOTH sides one in black and one in white gel pen, PERFECT!! and you don't stop there. You add some stenciling and then you add the flowers and your focal point. It's an amazing, creative and beautiful page. I love how you made the sentiment. I so enjoyed watching your process. I watched it twice!!😁❤❤❤ I am very proud of you. You always push through and create stunning art pages. I always learn something from you. Thank you!! Thank you for giving back. Hi, again... I’m gradually going through some of your wonderful art journal pages. I’m so glad I found you on RUclips... I love the sound of your voice and the way you do the voice-over... it’s almost like listening to a melody... I am really enjoying seeing you use stamps and supplies that I also have. I was impressed with how well you shaded those flowers. In 2019 I filled an 8x8 Dylusions journal with mostly flowers - I have an over abundance of flower stamps from various companies- Dylusions, PaperArtsy, Studio Light, etc. I so enjoyed creating that journal... I need to pull out some stamped images and start coloring! (I usually stamp a ton of images and cut them out using my Brother Scan-N-Cut machine so I have options readily available to play with.). Thanks so much for sharing your creativity. Have a great day! PS - I would never have thought to color some of those flowers in gray-scale -- it was so fitting for the quote - resentment will suck the color out of life.

I really like the water brushes you used with Dylusions ink. I used Tim Holtz water brushes but it leaks out too much.. Do you know where you bought them from? Thanks!
Hi Tonya 👋❤ Im sorry to read that the Tom Holtz brushes leak for you because that is what Im using 😔 they really should send you new ones because they arent sheap. I got my brushes from a dear friend and I dont have one for every ink because of the price. What I do, for the inks that I dont have a brush for, is to use the straw in the spray inks and put a few drops on my glass mat. Then I use a regular watercolor brush, and water, to color and it workes just as good as having them in a waterbrush. I hope that made sense and I hope you have fun coloring ❤ Happy Hollydays ❤❤❤
