I know Im always behind on answering coments, partly because I want to take my time to write from the heart, and partly because of my depression/anxiety. Hello Julia!!! ADORABLE Christmas Projects!!! Who would have thought to even design a Christmas DRAGON??? WHIMSY Stamps of course… But… It WORKS… SO CUTE!!! I especially love the guy tangled in all those lights! All of your completed projects are so cute that it’s hard to pick a favorite… I love the cards but I love that you created snow globe ORNAMENTS- perfect for your two boys! I love how you clustered the greenery around those postage circles… love the shaker elements… always a joy to watch you color - I don’t have those Karin markers yet although I finally enjoyed coloring some with my ZIG’s on Bristol smooth cardstock… I’ve been watching some Dylusions Christmas videos and am inspired to get out some of her items to play with this weekend although my focus will be on completing my more traditional cards using embossed 5x7 card panels and adding poinsettias & greenery to them and possibly some filigree ornaments that could be removed to hang on the tree… we’ll see how it goes… I’m starting with 20 cards and will go from there. Every year, my card list gets smaller as I get older but I’m hoping to create the cards this year instead of buy them. I’m sorry I never got back to you about the Spellbinder’s Advent Stitchmas Calendar… I opened them one a day and at least cut them out the first few days although I have not done any of the actual stitching yet - also hoping to play with that idea this weekend. The designs are cute and I’m hoping to use some of those on my cards. I’m also opening daily the regular Spellbinders Advent calendar that has 24 surprises inside… and… finally… I’m loving the Art by Marlene stencil Advent calendar and daily create a 4”x4” sample of the stencil in the disc bound reference journal I made for it. I’m loving stenciling with a rainbow of colors mostly using my Ranger dye inks that have the perfect shades - I had to re-ink most of my ink pads as they had dried out from being too close to the heat register LOL… I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season - a very Merry Christmas and all the best to you and yours in the new year 2024!!! 🙂🎄🙏🏻❤️🎉
Dear Sue ♥️ I hope you never feel bad if you dont get back to answer my questions. Im just curious 😊 and I myself take my time to answer coments. I always want to write genuine answers and take my time but I must admit that depression/anxiety steals a lot of time. I am getting treatment for it but there are so many things I can't change like cronic pain and the boys needing my help ( all though I would not change the later for anything, they make me take charge of my anxiety because I don't want them to be affected). Sorry for the long personal struggle book I just wrote 😊. So I try to give myself grace and I certainly understand if others forget or don't have time. You seame to be in a creative mood with your christmas cards, the stencil album and your advent calenders. I am beond happy that you feel inspired and I hope you are kind to yourself if you dont finish everything you want to ♥️ I will try to follow that advice myself because I always feel bad about the christmas suplies I wanted to use but did'nt 😄. Here, in Sweden, we celebrate on the 24th, opening presents on christmas eve. Lucky for my boys we have a big family and get together for the 25th so they get two days of celebration. How are you spending the holidays? I know holidays can bring double feelings when you have lost dear ones ♥️ When I get to chat with you again it might be 2024 so I want you to know that you are in my prayres and that I wish you happy and peaceful holidays ♥️🙏♥️🎄♥️ Ps.
