After he was lying to her from episode 1, running a crime business that endangered her and the whole family (because of him the Salamancs twins broke into their house) and he refused to take any action that would solve his problems that would not make him look like a hero (refusing the Grey matter job and medical, refusing to use the website to clean his money etc). Her actions were 100% justified.

This scene is amazing. He’s trying to take all the culpability so Skyler doesn’t go to prison since he knew the cops were listening. He even “kidnapped” his own daughter to make it look real and so skyler would genuinely look afraid. And at the same time he’s heart broken for what happened to Hank and he had to play the part of the heartless sob and tell them that hank was dead. The last true act of selfish love from Walt.
I don’t think he kidnapped the kid for this. He took her in a last ditch effort to maintain some of his family. He says he’s gonna buy her a new car seat when he’s changing her and calls out for her mom, then he looks saddened by it. Getting a new car seat meaning he planned on being with her. I’ve seen this theory but it doesn’t make sense when you watch that scene
While walt was a bad person and absolutely fucked everything up at this point, you can still tell how he still loved hank so much when he struggled to fake his "confession" This was such a masterclass of an episode, everything crumbling down because of walt's ego and having to go of everything
Walt didn’t make the best decisions or think of his family the entire time. But when the rubber meets the road, he delivered to save his family from his mistakes. Very moving.
I highly doubt, unfortunately, that we will get to see such a masterfully told and executed show like Breaking Bad. Every show that gets even a little nearby this incredible story eventually pulls the rug out from under me and shows itself as another subpar pile of garbage.
This was the last bit of Walter White left in Heisenberg. He sacrificed himself to the police to save Skyler and the family from being prosecuted. One of the best scenes in the whole show.

This scene is so brutal. It first seems to be a catharsis for Walt, just unleashing his anger, but then you realize that he knew the police would be listening, and the call was one of the last things he did for someone other than himself, trying to save Skyler from being implicated.
The fact that he has to act like he killed Hank to put all the blame on himself instead his family is so sad. He actually did care for his family. You can see the tears in his eyes as he has to act like he killed Hank even though it’s not true.
