How to climb like Ned.
1. Climb consistently for 25 years
2. Now, you climb like Ned. Maybe.
Haha that’s the way!
What a great session to watch. 💪 Loving the book as well. 👍
Thank you 😊. It’s such a good book isn’t it!
Excellent video Josh good work!
Thanks Lucas 😀
THANK YOU Josh! Very informative and that boulder session look so powerful. 5 fingerboards a week, ok I guess it has to be on the lower intensity
Thank you for watching 😊. Ned is an amazing guy who is so knowledgeable about climbing and training. Ha yea it was a tough session trying to remotely keep up with him 😅.
Yea I think he changes it up, so every session is different
been to TCH recently, only a v2/v3 climber but its cool to see you and Ned make these boulders ive seen and felt in real life look so easy! sick video
Oh cool TCH is such an awesome gym! Ah thank you, I think it might have been more Ned than me making it look easy 😅. Thank you 😊
Great video mate. The best one yet!
Thank you 😊
His footwork is so precise...
It’s amazing isn’t it!
loved this one, and ordered the book
Yay 😀 so pleased you liked it!! Nice!!!! It’s an awesome book! Hope you like it 💪
Great content!
Yay pleased you liked it!
Inspirational as always! THE Josh Rundle is back!
Aw thanks Joe!! Love you ❤️
Love that you call it a "splatter board" - in Australia we call it a spray wall! Great video mate, some really good info here.
Haha I think it’s call it spray wall and splatter board here. Us English are weird though 😂. Thank you really pleased you liked it!
Josh, bobats and Magnus all at the same time gotta see what josh is doing first
Aw this makes me so happy 😁 thank you!
Love the videos mate, I'm just getting into bouldering myself at the minute and your content is so well made and really entertaining to watch! Don't stop making them and I'll be sure to keep watching them :)
Also get Sam in a video, I want to see that boy climb (said he's better than you).
Thank you! I’m so happy you like them! I won’t, I love making them 😀.
Which Sam? Haha he probably is.
@@JoshRundle That would be your brother Sam, and I would be his housemate!
Oooohh haha 😂 I was trying to think of Sam’s I know that climb. Haha I’m sure he could, he’s the natural athlete of the family. I just got all the looks 😉.
Oh cool I hope he has everyone in your house watching my videos 😅
@@JoshRundle Well I've showed them to a couple friends of mine who are also into bouldering so you'll definitely be getting some more regular watchers! Keep it up man :)
Thanks 🙏 will do 😊.
Hip flexibility is extremely important for heel hooks. You can’t just go out and do them if you lack the flexibility.
That’s true, that’s probably one of the reasons Ned is so good at them!
seems like a really cool and down to earth guy :)
He is super nice!
You could make a compilation of all of your rejected fist bumps. Maybe you’re saddest tiktok
Haha 😂 I like that idea, although it might be an hour long 😉
i feel like every time i almost improve, i get injured, or have some other health problems. I have just given up improving now, and just climb when i can. Climbing the same grade i did when i started climbing is frustrating at times, but at least i climb =)
Ahh that’s really tough. Sometimes I think the nicest part of climbing is the movement, no matter what the grade. I can imagine that being frustrating, I really hope you get less injured from now on!
@@JoshRundle yeah, one problem i had was that climbing in the same gym for years made the movement somewhat repetitive, so instead of focusing on improving, i‘ll now just focus on climbing in different gyms and areas. :)
That’s a really good idea, trying different moves and new climbs always makes you a better climber 😀
I just ripped my bicep for the second time climbing as soon as I was coming up on some big projects. I too feel that everytime in my life I get close to something, something rips or breaks. Fuck it. It grows back. Anything you truly, truly want in life takes sacrifice, almost like a ritual. Stay strong🤟
The only big finger injury I got was when I always went to the same (small) gym. It's very bad. Different gyms have different holds and movement styles.
Keep at it, your body might be a bit weak for your grade right now but it will get better.
How do you manage skin? That's the main benefit for me right now, fingerboarding doesn't cost any skin
I don’t have to much problem with my skin to be honest but I use Elizabeth Arden and climb on which seems to be super great and rhino ski is great too.
Gorgeous! 🔝💫💥
Thanks 🙏
Makes me wanna build a home wall
I know me too! If you google Ned’s board it’s amazing!!
That hold at 6:14 is torture
Oooh it's lovely!
Haha there are definitely bigger holds out there 😅
13:17 dab police
Haha 😂 I see no dab
im pretty much a expert myself i climbed a ladder once
Nice 💪💪💪💪
book 2 - heel hooks
Haha yes!
How twll are you josh?
I’m 6 foot 3
If anyone is interested in seeing some of the guys at Lattice trying the same yellow boulder at the end that Ned did: ruclips.net/video/bVZ4zYvo_6Y/видео.html Pretty cool to see other people on it
O cool thanks 😊
Meh.
Clickbait title, fun to see how you guys climb, but density of tips would fit into 2 min video.
Got to play the game 😉. Thanks pleased you liked the climbing. Could do but where’s the fun in that?
