All those other things will still be there after you are well. I am slightly older than your dad and I can assure you, every injury you have when you are young will come back to haunt you when you are older, unless you heal completely. Your technical skill are superb... archery, photography, videography, cooking, building, gardening, well... just everything you do! A word to the wise... I suffered a concussion quite a few years ago, got same advice as you, and, in typical male fashion, ignored it and just kept taking ibuprofen, acetaminophen and other analgesics for the headaches to "tough it out". About five years ago I ended up in ER. Turned out I had a huge cerebral hematoma and almost check out for the big one. Not telling you this to scare you, please don't even be concerned. Just take care of yourself and if headaches persist, ask for a CT scan for a look see. God bless you girl! Regards, Richard Utah

I played rep soccer until I was 17 when I completely tore my ACL and meniscus in a championship game, had to get reconstructive surgery and could never play competitively again. I miss soccer a lot. Still play hockey though ;) Hope you feel better soon, I know how frustrating it is to be injured

I found that after I cracked my head and couldn't shake the fog that reading a lot seemed to get the old neuron synapses firing and catching and brought me back to a more cognitive state. My son in law hit his head hard twice in two weeks back in December 2022. He is still suffering with headaches and a lot of other weird symptoms. Next week he is seeing a spinal specialist. His physical therapist is at a loss as to what is going on. I’ll be praying you heal completely and quickly.

I’m so glad that your father is doing much better. After having that little problem, he thinks from the water. Not everyone can leave the lifestyles of your father mother as I know you are also part of it different ways. I still enjoyed when I was younger, was backpacking and doing all the things that I see your family do. So I enjoy getting to see the seeing me that I can’t necessarily backpack and walk to these days because of my age. So keep doing what you’re doing and enjoying the outdoors and the lifestyle but not many get to have. And a lot of people don’t want that kind of a lifestyle but it’s awesome and it’s beautiful and thank you for sharing.
