    Great video, subscribed
I tried a vanilla purfume in a Birtchbox box subscription and I don't remember the name but it's was sweet vanilla and something else but I can't find the scent. I have tried a lot of different vanilla scents this was back in 2015 or 2016. I hope to find it one day

I am not a vanilla person but the NEST Madagascar Vanilla perfume oil has me Obsessed. I am searching for any perfume that dupes that oil. Any suggestions?? 😀

On a different note I heard the Victoria Secret Bare Vanilla is good and the Lavanila scents are good as well, I heard.

Hello, I really enjoyed this! It's a very difficult note to get right for my tastes, y'know, if it's going to lead the choir. I've searched far and wide too and have only landed one one true legendary vanilla soprano (the delivery of the bottle is due to arrive on my doorstep tomorrow after waiting for literally YEARS for it to come back into production). So here's my contribution to the conversation:
I have mixed feelings on the kind of vanilla fragrances that Kayali do. That type of cloying, syrupy sweet commercial composition is instantly recognisable, along with 'Sweet Diamond Pink Pepper' and for me it smells juvenile and offensively obnoxious. It is the selfish destroyer of shared communal space and it's silage is like Thor's hammer so it's not for me because I'd be embarrassed to walk into a shared environment and just stuff myself up everybody's noses without any consideration whatsoever. It's not me as a person, so this would be a shameful, misleading olfactory billboard. I like a fragrance that is more like a thick cocoon, a microclimate which whirls around my person and can only be sensed if you stand next to me or if the breeze catches my person in just the right way and sends the fragrance downwind for a moment. I despise these so-called 'skin-scents' so that leads me into the worst vanilla fragrance I've smelled in a long time: Creed's 'Sublime Vanille'. It smells like a fusty old cardboard Little Tree that you find under the seat of the car one Sunday afternoon when valeting. The citrus note could have merged with the vanilla and created the most glorious Lemon Meringue Pie smell on planet Earth but instead it's a horrible, cheap, weird, flat, synthetic cardboard smell. And the very worst thing about it is that it's hideously overpriced-- AND it evaporates into a gauzy mist in less than an hour. A foul failure of a fragrance. The vanilla fragrance that I am currently awaiting is on the other end of the spectrum and is a thick, pasty, boozy kind of pure vanilla with no distracting notes in blend threatening to overshadow the star of the show: Tihota by Indult. It's been off the market for years and I thought it was being discontinued but alas, it returns. If the wait or price is too much for some, then may I recommend it's beautiful little sister 'Fire At Will' by Jovoy. It's a very similar type of vanilla fragrance.
Thank you for this video. I love hearing other people discuss things-- especially hearing their evaluation or response to fragrances which don't work for either my own taste or reacted disappointingly with my skin-chemistry and failed to work as I hoped. Juliette Has a Gun's 'Vanilla Vibes' is a perfect example. It turned into a cheap, flat cardboard Little Tree or a nasty supermarket body spray vibe on my skin too, which is not what I hoped it would do after hearing such praise for it online.
