I enjoy your thorough reviews! Vanilla is also one of my favorite notes. Unfortunately, I have a bottle of Vanilla Woods my daughter gave me and all I can pick up is a stale ashtray ☹️ . I hope someday this will change for me. I absolutely LOVE their Santal Vanille! 🙂

I didn’t like vanilla 28 at first but it grew on me and now I love it! Vanilla woods smells like cigarette smoke to me for some reason, lol I tried to get into it but I just couldn’t. I want to find a true gourmand vanilla. I’m a gourmand fragrance girlie
My top Gourmand Vanilla is St. Barth Vanille West Indies, followed by Escapade Gourmande.

That's great to hear you enjoy the approach, appreciate your input! I have a nursing background which has a lot of science involved, but not anything further than that. I just fall down rabbit holes of information and have found a great passion in sharing my thoughts on fragrances and my "experiments"😅

Tokyo Milk's "Let Them Eat Cake" is my #1 go to vanilla for layering.... it's devine, and i wear it alone to fall asleep. The most cozy delicious vanilla on earth. Even perfumes with vanilla get a boost from my Tokyo Milk if i find the vanilla not to linger as long as i prefer.

😆 I honestly don't think you'll be disappointed if you're a vanilla fan. It also layers so well with a lot of Fragrances. The new Wicked Vanilla Woods by Bath and Bodyworks also reminds me of Kayali Vanilla 28 and helps out the longevity. Hope you Love it!🤗
Vanilla woods recently reformulated their ingredients, adding more fragrance oils but some reviews say the smell is not the same. I’ve went through two bottles of this but am curious about it’s recent scent.
How interesting. I was not aware of any reformulations, so I wouldn't be able to confirm any changes in scent. I really Loved the current formulation though and ordered the 20ml Gemstone Roller.🤗

Hi there! I want to say that first fragrance was St. Barth's Vanille West Indies, but it could have been the Kayali Vanilla 28.
I had a sample of vanilla woods and loved it than decided to buy the full size immediately though the box away because i knew i loved it but to my surprise i get no fragrance at all from the full size and now i don't know if i can't return it without the box
Oh no! Sorry to hear! In my experience I really liked the sample, so I bought a full size oil but didn't get the same scent or performance. I haven't tried a full size of the EDP yet, but it's still something I wouldn't mind trying.
I have a new sample of Vanilla Woods and unfortunately I get moth balls from Vanilla Woods on occasion, which has prevented me from purchasing. It’s too bad because at times I love it!
Interesting! I ended up purchasing the roller ball oil, but it didn't perform like the spray version, so I decluttered it. Never got moth balls though luckily.

Vanilla woods smells like smoke on the skin … the initial spray is sweet vanilla pear mix but then it weirdly dries down to campfire smell. That is how it reacts on my skin anyway. And it is not a long lasting scent( aside fr the smoke lol)
Yikes, sorry to hear! 😬 I'm beyond happy I don't get this lingering smoke on skin. That would've been a no go. It had decent longevity as well, not my absolute favorite type of Vanilla, but enjoyed it.
