I thought it was cheap and begging for charging and her and her husband said they were going to spend that amount of money anyway don't believe that lying are they still together broke ass and gave you those Dollar tree glasses I was shamed could have put that money in better use to me that is BEGGING I bet you a nickel they marriage won't last 3 months please check on it they won't tell the truth no way GOD is not please the way they did it BEGGING 😮
That's so...tacky. If one of my friends or relatives did this, I would never go to another one of their events 😂 Live within your means. Have a wedding within your means. I have to pay for something YOU invited me to? Ummm NO. Just no 😅
Right, because, unfortunately, a lot of people geting married are not even staying maried until death do they part anyway. It's a waste of time and money going to their weddings.
I think people sometimes feel like others should be just as invested in their wedding day as they are. Asking people to pay for a wedding you can’t afford is diabolical. There are so many ways you can have a beautiful wedding on a reasonable budget. I’d rather ask people to give money as a gift to invest in a home or something that would be useful to my new husband and I. Their priorities are all over the place.
Notice how love and loving someone was not mentioned during this whole interview. This is commerce not love. No one is this special in the world, i don't care who or what you are. Love first not money first.PS, DONT GO TO A HOUSE WARMING PARTY OF THEIRS EITHER.
I’m not judging them, but I wouldn’t pay to attend a wedding. The purpose of having witnesses is for accountability, not just to celebrate. With that said, there are free weddings I don’t go to if I’m not in agreement for the couple to get married.🤷🏽♀️
I wouldn't charge my guests for my wedding. You invited them so why would you charge them. That's crazy. Unless paying for the wedding broke your pockets.
Highly doubtful to me that they had a $100K wedding. St. Patrick's Cathedral charges in the $15k-$20K range to hold a ceremony there on a weekend. So unless they booked a venue for a reception - for only 60 guests- with an astronomical price tag that was not mentioned, I don't see how they got to six figures. Definitely wasn't the party van they rented.
"A 12-hour wedding experience..." I mean, I would never, but I can see how the price tag got so high. It was a whole itinerary that lasted half a day. They did all kinds of activities around the city and received gifts, not just attend a 40-minute church ceremony. I've seen people pay more for concerts, New Year's Eve parties, birthday events, etc., so... *shrug* I wonder how many people bought tickets...
Perfect example of people living beyond their means and asking folks to chip in too. If you can't afford it, go simple and then grander when you can. Sometimes these unions don't even make it past year two and so you overextend yourself for nothing. It's a no for me. As adults we have to learn to make sound financial decisions and ask close friends and family to help you pay for your wedding isn't one of them.
Have a cheaper wedding, it can be done for way less. My wedding was about 8,000 including our honeymoon and it was amazing, we are still married, 18 years in.
I would not charge my special guest to be at my wedding day ceremony at all if my family members is visit to my wedding then my special guest they are visit to if I get wedding day one day to the love of my life and that young man that god has place in my life one day a god fearing young men
I would not charge my special guest to be at my wedding day ceremony at all if my family members is visit to my wedding then my special guest they are visit to if I get wedding day one day
The point is weddings are not lasting these days so here what I'll pay but you gotta sign my prenup you break up or go apart full refund with immediate effect its that simple Contract
This is outrageous!! They clearly have champagne taste with beer money and do not understand that the focus should be on the marriage and not a wedding. Let's keep it real, the odds are they have a 50% chance of staying married and are starting off as ghetto fabulous. Oh, and I am happily married after having a wedding in downtown Chicago on the lake with a 0.00 bill for the beautiful lake as our backdrop and we have plenty of zeroes and commas in our accounts. As a people we have got to be better and want better long term.
I say go for it. I liked that it wasn't just for food. People pay 600.00 to go to a concert and 1 they don't know the people personally and 2 they listen to their music all the time. If the couple does not ask for gifts its fine.
I always say a wedding invitation is just that, an invitation, not a summons to appear. You don't have to go.😒 I do not disagree with their approach. Gets rid of the rif raf who would only come to disparage their wedding, stuff their face with food, and not give a gift or card to wish them well on your special day. We pay strangers for other experiences why not support your loved ones wedding day interactive experience? I'm here for the razzle dazzle! Congrats to this creative couple!❤🎉
I understand their intention. Every person will have their own opinion. Had they had 350 guests, most of them would've eaten all of your food and drank all of your alcohol and not even purchase a gift. I assume that for the couple, it was all about having the most important people there and so the ones that ACTUALLY PAID--were meant to be in attendance. Small and intimate.
This is so weird - who are all of these wedding guests I see commenters mentioning who don't give gifts and come just to gorge on food? I'm Caribbean American surrounded by really big families and this is just such a foreign concept to me - weddings are celebratory occasions for overflowing generosity in both directions.
All of yall hating, stfu! They had an amazing experience for the loved ones that attended the wedding and in actuality the guests didn’t pay so stfu. Y’all could never brokeys!! They had a dream wedding with their own style! Y’all couldn’t do this if y’all wanted to. New York fly shit only!
You guys did your thing haters will never watch the full wedding series to see what else was provided to guests as well as how beautiful it was. Plus in my opinion 333 is cheap for a wedding gift especially of this magnitude the fine dining experience only could have easily been 400 dollars but keep shining bright styles.
Thats ridiculous to charge people to come to a wedding YOU invited them to. GTFOH!!
I totally support them
Swedes would invite you to their party and ask that you “swish” them the cost of your food.
TACKY! Don't have a wedding with invited guest if you can't afford it. Go to the justice of the peace and call it a day.
Charging people to attend your wedding is poor taste. I say throw a wedding you can afford.
I wish I would pay to go to anybody’s wedding. Please ‼️‼️
That's so...tacky. If one of my friends or relatives did this, I would never go to another one of their events 😂 Live within your means. Have a wedding within your means. I have to pay for something YOU invited me to? Ummm NO. Just no 😅
Exactly..they just trying to recoup the $they spent..smdh
THAT'S FINE... BUT DON'T EXPECT A GIFT FROM ME. THAT FEE IS YOUR GIFT
IT'S no no no for me.
It’s nobody in this world I’d pay to watch say their vows. Keep your “Save the date” & your invite!!! 🙅🏾♀️
Right, because, unfortunately, a lot of people geting married are not even staying maried until death do they part anyway. It's a waste of time and money going to their weddings.
This fool charged her own mother and sister 🤦🏾♀️... just ridiculous
Tacky as hell! Either you can afford a wedding or you can't. It's not up to a guest to pay for your fantasy. The marriage probably won't last a year.
Tacky. Don’t have a wedding. You broke.
It doesn’t make sense. I know you’re not expecting a gift too. Unbelievable.
For such a gorgeous venue, that wedding looked like a real clown show.🤡
THE OPTICS OF THAT VIDEO SAYS A LOT, AND THAT IS ME TRYING TO BE NICE.
#uncouth #tasteless
Yup. It's givin' ghetto.
They’ll want you to pay for their house next if you plan to visit!
I don’t think they could afford that wedding so they charged people to
Pay for it. Trying to live above their means🤦🏾♀️
I will never understand why people who can't afford a lavish wedding, insist on having a lavish wedding.
It sounded more like a 1day staycation than a wedding..
Was there refund policy? I pray their union last for many many years.
WHAT??? 🙄🙄🙄

You can’t explain tacky!!!
Charge the guests who wont show up because you have to pay for the guests thay dont turn up
I wonder if they charged Them to be a guest on the show.
Tasteless & classless. SMH
Notice how love and loving someone was not mentioned during this whole interview. This is commerce not love. No one is this special in the world, i don't care who or what you are. Love first not money first.PS, DONT GO TO A HOUSE WARMING PARTY OF THEIRS EITHER.
I can't even continue listening to this foolishness so I'm coming out of this video, smh!
They literally came on this show to validate their mess lol 😂
Hell to the naw naw naw….
One of the tackiest, grossest things I have seen in a while; I hope people don't try to normalize this.
I’m not judging them, but I wouldn’t pay to attend a wedding. The purpose of having witnesses is for accountability, not just to celebrate. With that said, there are free weddings I don’t go to if I’m not in agreement for the couple to get married.🤷🏽♀️
I wouldn't charge my guests
for my wedding. You invited them so why would you charge them. That's crazy. Unless paying for the wedding broke your pockets.
No unless. I wouldn't have entertained staying at the event
So the tickets brought them 20k, and they paid 100k

I have they have a big mansion and 2 Roll Royce, because a hundred thousand is insane for a wedding.
Is the couple that was charging people 300 dollars
Cheap. And, I would have stayed home and mailed them a gift.
Not even a gift…they just would’ve gotten a verbal “congratulations” and that’s it.
4:25 Really?🤔 😅
We didn’t charge for our wedding, but I sure wish PayPal, cashapp, Venmo and Zelle were available back then. 😂
Please, people did them the favor by going. That was distasteful. An old saying, “Put your hat where your hands could reach.”
Showing too much
Noo
Have a cheaper wedding, it can be done for way less. My wedding was about 8,000 including our honeymoon and it was amazing, we are still married, 18 years in.
Do what u want. Dont like it dont come. Everyone wins

Different word now
tacky,
Not for nothing, but that was not cute!! The dress and other clothes were not cute
Uninvite me because im not gonna be outta money to be glamorous and oay for the wedding
I say go for it. I liked that it wasn't just for food. People pay 600.00 to go to a concert and 1 they don't know the people personally and 2 they listen to their music all the time. If the couple does not ask for gifts its fine.

Totally agree
Unpopular opinion- I like what they did!!! Guest paid for an entire NY experience.
I think it’s great
Stop the lying it is not great.
It’s us!!!!! Thank you for the opportunity!!! And, yup, we sold tickets to our wedding!! 🥰🥰🥰🤎
